I have been drinking about 1 cup of coffee a day for 6 days a week for about 1 .5 years. now all of sudden I get nauses when drinking and cannot finish 1 cup, and the smell makes me feel like I have to threow up. can anyone relate, or give me some ideas as to why cofee makes me feel like this?

Are you pregnant?
Could be a stomach bug going around.
You may have gastritis and/or ulcer and need to see a doctor. You might try a lighter roast coffee as this is less irritating to my stomach.
BTW when my gallbladder went bad, I couldn't drink coffee until it was removed.

I was the same. I drank coffee on almost the same scale for about 3 years then one day it just wanted to make me retch.
I was told by the doctor that coffee has this effect on quite a few people. Apparently the brain kind of gets use to you consuming coffee and stops producing the chemical signal that makes it pleasurable to drink. Then the toxin found in coffee are not broken down anymore and thus you get the retching sensation.
Like I said this was told to me by my doctor. Either that or he just wanted me to quit caffeine.
Has there been any other changes in your life that coincide with this sudden dislike as these too can effect your taste.

any caffeine give you alertness by doing that you are over working your organs like pancreas wish produce insulin and you use all your adrenaline at once so your body has to work extra hard to produce more adrenaline making you tired after and coffee
also wash out the magnesium and calsium from your body
