I'm in the middle of some kind of virus (a little like a cold) right now and just started antiobiotics cuz my mom said to do it and she's a doctor. But is there a thing that immediately clears up sinuses; because I'm sneezing alot, having a really bad runny nose, have pressure in my ears, and there's pressure in the forehead area and itching in my eyes when I bend down or when my head's in a certain position. It's getting hard 2 get some sleep, so plz help. Thanks in advance.

to ITpro, I'm not really sure what it is (I forgot what she said) so I just said I had a cold because from what I remembered, that was what a cold's symptoms are. now that I think about it, she might have said that it's the flu or a respiratory infection.

what i always do for that is stand under a really hot shower for ages cos the steam clears up your nose and the heat of the water helps with the aches.
if ya dont feel like that just fill a bowl with hot water and put a towel over your head and inhale the steam. Ya could try put some eucalyptus or lavender drops in the steam too

Well, your mom should know that antibiotics are useless against viruses like the common cold.

The cold just needs to run its course. I use Tylenol sinus to help with the symptoms.

I get sinus problems a lot... What helps me is usually an OTC sinus allergy medicine. If you can't get that, then a hot cup of tea helps clear up your sinuses.

Vicks Vapor Rub

Get a vaporizer add the Vicks Rub in the empty slot on vaporizer , lift the lid add water
and plug in vaporizer .
This worked for several generations!

For sinus problems get some Echinacea. Take two when you buy them and then maybe one when ever needed. You can get the little black pills at the health food store. They are really great.

Vicks vaporub. If you don't want it on your chest, (the best way) put a little in hot water and breath the vapors.
That's what my mom always did for our colds.
