i had pink eye before and it sucks!!!! I was out from work for 9 days I was pu ton antibiotic to get rid of it. I guess it depends on how bad it is. I had mine in my right eye at first and then it spread to my left eye.

You can return to work or school 24 hours after starting treatment.

Normally 2-4 days they say it's very catchy omg is it.Get some meds & treat it right away.Good Luck

if you are receiveing treatment, 24 hours.
If you choose to go without, 2 weeks.
