Okay this is a bit embarrassing but a few weeks ago I noticed a bump on my butt cheek. It hurt, itched, and felt warm. I thought maybe it was a spider bite since I have spiders in my house but it's been 3 weeks and its still there. It doesn't hurt anymore but when I push down on it..it feels like there's a B.B or something under the skin. Any idea what this is? I'm pretty sure it's not a Fiddleback spider bite...b/c my skin would be halfway gone by now lol. Anyways help would be nice! Oh and I tried neosporin and it helped but it didn't go away.

It sounds like a boil that did not rupture. The hard BB is probably the 'head' or core of the infection that is now sclerosed or hardened. A boil is a staph infection. You should probably have the doctor look at it even though it will be embarrassing for you.

Although it seems like the infection is no longer active, he may want to give you a local anesthetic and send the "BB" off to be analyzed to see what it is or he may do nothing at all.

Next time try heat packs to the area to try and draw the infection out.

Every body gets these on the booty every now and then! It's normal! Just maybe heat bumps or something like that.

I have no idea what it is but it sounds like a continual butt pimple and I would suggest you try to oxycute it.

sounds like a boil. Keep it clean and dry. Apply hot wet compresses at night.

You should probably go to the doctor.

Does it hurt? Can you squeeze it? Does anything come out when you squeeze it?
