General Health Care - September 2006

Everytime I sleep in class or take a nap, I wake up with a very bloated stomach. I mean really bloated like I got pregnant in 45-1 hour. Why and how does that happen? It hurts worse if I drink pop before nap. I'd have to bend over a little bit to ease the pain or go to the bathroom. I'd say we have three reasons to go to the bathroom yourself: pee, poop, and blow. A solution or ideas to deal with it would be cool.

a packet of cigs then found them at the exact same place the next day, except the area stank of wee. I was stressed and didn't think about it so smoked one (!!!I know!!!) Could I have caught anything?!?!!?!? I now have a kind of tickly throat and I remember someone saying the first symptom of HIV is a cold!!!!! I'm a hypochondriac but still!

Having recently been to the opticians and found that the eyesight is getting worse, I was wondering if anyone has experience of eye laser treatment?

How safe is it as I have heard there is a chance it can make you blind? Have any long-term effects yet been estasblished?

I had an ulcer (and very well could still have it) and I have noticed recently that I get extremely gassy after eating/drinking milk products. Since the Ulcer was diagnosed I tend to have diahrreha more often the I ever had my entire life. Could and Ulcer cause me to have issues with breaking down lactose or could I have become lactose intolerant?

me and my bf went into pain (he had a back ache, me an ab pain) and he asked me that its good for the pain... but i understand that as long it works soo good for the body, it can be use as drug for pain killer ..... what do you think???

I have not had a good BM all week - I think due to IBS. I haven't ever had an enima, but am wondering if it would make me feel better. Is it awkward or difficult to give yourself? Would I be better off taking a laxative?

I posted this question on yahoo answers this morning and someone replied saying I must hurry off to hospital, because they knew of a similar case and they died !
I´ll explain my case again: I have an infected wisdom tooth. I´m taking antibiotics and dentist said I must finish the course before the tooth can be extracted. The appointment for that is next Tuesday, thank god! Problem is, my throat is getting worse and worse. I couldn´t sleep last night due to the pain and discomfort. And this morning I found that I couldn´t even speak! I´ve lost my voice.
About 8 hours have passed and I´ve just started with a bit of nasal congestion, headache and feeling a bit dizzy, so now I don´t know whether the sore throat is related to a possible cold coming up or to the wisdom tooth infection! Should I really rush to hospital? I´ve just made an appointment with my GP but it´s not till tomorrow 4pm. Should I really really rush to the hospital? or just wait...Many thanks...
