Everytime I sleep in class or take a nap, I wake up with a very bloated stomach. I mean really bloated like I got pregnant in 45-1 hour. Why and how does that happen? It hurts worse if I drink pop before nap. I'd have to bend over a little bit to ease the pain or go to the bathroom. I'd say we have three reasons to go to the bathroom yourself: pee, poop, and blow. A solution or ideas to deal with it would be cool.

I think the key to some of the problem is in what you have said. You said its worse if yu drink a pop before you nap. Soda will mainly give you gas, especially if you are not burping the excess gas before you nap. If you are a frequent soda drinker, this may be your problem entirely. Most times, gas can be related to the types of food and drinks yu are eating, or if you happen to gulp alot of air when you eat. Some people gulp alot of air because they have problems chewing, may have stuffed nose/allergies, or even they have little time to eat, and eat very quickly, causing them to swallow alot of air as they try to hurry through their meal. When you are sleeping, your body still is working on trying to digest your food, but at a slower pace. If you are unable to pass the gas through a burp, eventually it will make it way through your system and end up as gas and cause bloating. Some foods can also cause gas, especially beans or anything rich with beans, and some vegetables.
Rarely there are some medical problems that can cause excessive gas (gall bladder problems). I am not a doctor, but suspect that if you slow down when you eat, do not eat two hours before lying down, lessen the amount of gas producing food and drink, you will find an improvement.

Hope you feel better soon.
