Depends on what your regular cramps feel like. Some women don't have intense menstrual cramps, so when they are in labor, they don't know what to expect. I had mild cramps when I was a teenager, and when I went into labor, that's how my contractions felt. They started at 6:30 in the morning and lasted till I got my epidural at 1:15 in the afternoon. After that, I could only feel the pressure from the contractions. My labor was incredibly easy, even for my first child. It only lasted about 9 hours, and I only had to push for about 15 minutes. I can't wait to do it again!
