There are alot of people that would love to be able to have healthcare coverage but cant afford it.

There are others that have had healthcare coverage for so long that they think that it is a right. These people tend to not follow directions of their medical providers, which makes them sick again, and then their back wondering why they are sick again.

If your not going to follow the advise of medical providers then either find a new physician that understands your needs or withdraw from the healthcare plan.
It is people like you that are unhealthy that require alot more personal attention that are keeping costs high for those of us that would like to pay less for healthcare.

A word to the healthcare providers.
If your patients dont listen and follow your advice or instructions then you should drop them as your patient and make them go to another physician. If they dont want to listen to the 2nd person then they need to be dropped from the plan all together.

I spent 5 years working as a contractor in London hospitals.
The people who allocate the contracts out ask for bribes to give out the tenders.
They skim NHS money to feather their own nests and the Hospital staff have more managers than doctors and nurses.

My cat scratched me pretty bad just below my neck. I'm getting married in a month and really don't want a scar. Plus, I spend a lot of time outside and I've heard the sun makes scars worse. What is the best way to prevent a scar? Neosporin? Just a band-aid? Nothing? Thanks for your help...

The skin tag is loosely attached to me under my armpit area. How much bleeding, if any, will occur if I pull it off? Should I pull it off slowly or fast?

Are there any good books out there for someone who's not a professional, who just wants to be prepared if a situation comes up. So I can know what to do before the ambulance arrives or if help is going to be awhile. I've looked at some wilderness first-aid books but they don't describe how to know the difference in sypmtoms if someone was having a heart attack or a cardiac arrest. Those are just examples. Thanks for any help.

I was reading an insert in my newspaper advertising "Extraordinary Uses for Ordinary Things" by Readers Digest. I don't want to buy the book but was wondering if anyone knows how to soothe a tongue after it has been burned. The insert says "Burn your tong on hot pizza, soup, or coffee? This secret stops the pain immediately!" I was wondering if anyone knows the "secret."

I think I might have pulled a tendon. I wrecked on a dirtbike this weekend and now my left leg had a tendon constantly pulled out and it hirts to bend it and it hurts to touch it. I overjumped a 40 foot double by like 30 feet. I did not realize how small the jump was, and I am used to big jumps. So what does it feel like to pull a tendon? It feels like that muscle or whatever is sticking out is loose.

I am 62 female.. Drs have tested my heart/ lungs , have had ct scans and b-12 shots..ultra sounds ect... dont believe its blood clots as it has been going on for almost a year now..
I am "mildly anemic" with the blood results being hemoglobin 11..
have checked everything but emphysyma .I believe the term is "intermittant claudication" but all the info I find on that is related to heart problems and my heart/lung check out fine... ekg normal, ehco gram, normal ,echo -treadmill stress normal..
anyone with any suggestions ...have had anemia all my life...iron defeciency...the last time i had intermittant claudication was after chemo and radiation 3 yrs ago. corrected that with blood transfusions.
I think i need to be higher on the hemoglobin scale to function but my drs seem to think if I am in the range 11- 16 that is good enough..
also lost one kidney to cancer ..
have gained weight due to lack of walking and have problems with edema in my legs and hands/feet....help ! info !anyon

For like the last 3 weeks i have been experiencing something i never have before. I have been getting these pimple looking things on my body. They are like tiny little pimples(pus filled but tiny) They only itch when i first notice them for like a second and then it just stays like that. They usually happen at night when i go to bed.I notice when i get up in the morning. In a span of 3 weeks i have maybe gotten like like 8 no more than like 12 i believe. They dont erupt or anything i usually pick at it and it goes away.I left one alone and it did nothing just stayed the same way.Its kinda scaring me a little but i dont know what to think.I live in arizona and i think i noticed it started happening when it started raining but i dont know ive been thinking what if its a disease of some sort but then they would turn into sores right. Can anybody help??

exept maybe through a football around( on sun. aug. 6th), the only other thing is that I got kicked in the thigh reallllyyy hard, it didn't bruise but fealt like a charly horse for a couple of days(this happened tue. the 8th).

Now, the problem is that it feels like I have been stabbed in the ribs undernieth my right pec. It hurts when I breath or in any way stretch my chest, and it hurts the most when I lie down, especially on my back, I can't sleep. Also, my right shoulder feels like it needs to be cracked constantly, but it won't crack. I can still use my right arm normally, it's just that my shoulder has a constant dull pain, nothing makes it worse or better. I'm in a lot of pain, nothing that I can't deal with, but it gets frustrating when I can't sleep. I first noticed the pain on the afternoon of fri. 11th and it seems it's still just as bad now on mon.

Any doctors on here have an idea what's wrong, I'd hate to go spend $2000 for a them to tell me they can't do anythiing.

I was told that smoking thins your blood which is not good for having anesthesia, but I'm not sure how much time is needed for your blood to return to normal.
