General Health Care - August 2006

The doc prescribed the 375mg version 1-1-1 a day for a very bad throat infection. This is my third day and it did not improve. Do you think I shall go to see a doctor again?

i have had so any problems with my right knee. i was practing with my pre season basketball team and we were blocking out and this girl came down and popped my knee to where it was completly straight this was about 10 monthes ever sience that i ahve had sharp pains when i run and sometimes i just have sharp pains i have started wearing a knee brace and i still play basketball. it still hurts and i cant stand the pain sometimes or sometimes it dont hurt! im clueless! i dont know whats wrong can u possibly tell me whats wrong with it

ive had sciatica for over a week now and it is really hard for me to do much without it hurting i cant bend down and i cant pick my daughter up out of her cot without it killing me its worse wen i have been asleep in bed does anyone know how i can soothe it and make it better without physiotherapy as theres a long waiting list

My BMI is 28. My work involves a lot of stair climbing. It would get better if I stop/rest in between. It only hurts during that moment. Is it due to my stamina? Its not that good either.

I just started working at Wal-Mart, and my feet kill me after every shift I work. I am looking for a good pair of shoes to wear at work on very hard tile floors, and I need good arch support too. I have very little natural arch in my foot, and even with Dr. Scholl's insoles in my best pair of shoes, my heels, ankles, knees, and lower back kill me. Some co-workers have said New Balance shoes are good, others that the shoes with springs, I think Nike Shox, are good. Please help me... I have a limited budget and can't stand being in pain so much all the time.

I tried to give blood but i have very small veins. they tried and tried and finally got one. but then after only a little bit, it stopped flowing. i didnt know that you are supossed to be well hydrated before giving blood. if i make sure i am next time, will it go better? have u ever had a bad blood giving experience, and then it went fine the next time? my type is a universal donor, so i really want to give it. thanks! and go donate blood too! even after all that, it didnt hurt bad at all, so worth it! thanks for sharing your stories and advice!

I was trying to get two nails out of my steel frame in my basment because they were pointing down and anyone could of jumped up and hit the nail and get it jabed into there head.

Anyway, after I took them out I went to pick one up and it pricked me and blood came out. It was like a prick form one of the blood sugar test people with DB use to test with. I washed it with soap and water then put a bandaid on it. Its not held but can still see dead skin over the small hole and little black stuff?

Anyway On saturday night I got the chills, and my joints are really stiff elbos and nees ect. also my mussels feel werid.

I'm going in toamrrow/ next day to get my shot for Tetanus . I was wondering if this is too late to do anygood if I have it? Also, Does the Bosster shot prevent it from furthering and heals me from it.
