Sleep Apnea is one main reason people snore. If it too bad you could be hurting yourself by not getting enough sleep. Tell your doctor--especially if you feel tired throughout the day. There is help available for this. I use a CPAP machine which helps. It blows air in your nose to keep the airway open and resolves the snoring problem too.

My Partner snores too, and I asked the same question recently. I thought the answer from Steve_0524 sounded good and even chose it as my best answer until I double clicked on his icon to look at his profile.
He has answered 85 questions...ALL on snoring (mostly identical to the one below), and asked none......suspicious! I then asked if anyone else had used www.prosnore apart from Steve_0524 and only 2 people gave a positive answer. When I checked their profiles they were both new users, and neither had asked or answered any other question. I think Steve_0524 owns the company and that the other 2 user ID's have been set up by him. If you want to check this, just double click on his icon. At least you will have access to all the questions he has answered. You might find a better answer from there.
I wear earplugs, and put a pillow up between our heads as a kind of partial sound barrier, but what worries me is that my partner stops breathing frequently.

My granddaughter had this when she was 5. It was so bad she got very little good sleep and had a terrible temper all day. When taken to the Dr. it was diagnosed that she needed her adenoids out as they were very large. She had the operation and there is no more snoring, she sleeps well now (so does her sister as they share the same room), and no more temper tantrums caused from lack of sleep. Of course this may not be your problem. Why not get it checked out.

My 6 year old daughter snores. Her snoring is caused by enlarged adnoids and tonsils. We've considered taking her for surgery to have them removed. My husband also snores but only when he is extremely tired, I have no idea why.
