I try no to poke my nose in other people's business. Maybe you should do the same.

I'm sure they know it's bad for them. Why do you care if it's killing them? Do you stop smokers to tell them how bad it is? Do you keep people from drinking around you? If someone is wearing flip flop sandals, do you stop and tell them they could be wearing more supportive footwear?

No, it's really none of your business to tell random strangers what to do with their lives and their health.

it's "always" rude (and mean as well) to tell another person how to live their life, and to berate them. It will never be acceptable to do that. However when people can't fit in a seat anymore or can't leave their house because they can't fit thru the door, they will get the picture. Surely there are enough programs on tv about dieting.

It is never acceptable to be rude. I don't tell smokers to stop smoking, and I don't tell overweight people to stop eating.

their is afew political issues with the subject.
Hoe I see it no one is telling them to eat the stuff, or putting the food in their mouth and swallow.
also moving as little as possable. personal choice.
I would choose a fruit salad over any take away any day!(more flavour)

It should never be acceptable. Live and let live, worry about your own problems. You may not be fat, but Im sure you arent perfect.

It's not any of my business how people live, so I say nothing to them. But that doesn't mean I don't have my thoughts about it.
