This morning I noticed my ankles very swollen. It's freaking me out. I'm not pregnant or anything. How did it happen and what should I do to get the swelling down quick?

My job doesn't provide benefits, but I'm tired of waiting to get Essure or a tubal ligation. Where can I find information about reputable insurance companies (that I can afford) that cover sterilization procedures?

hello all

well i have sprained my ankles many time but nothing compared to teh pain of this injury. i cant put any pressure on it....if i do i get a pain that very noticably (sp?) come from my toes and shots up to the middle of my shin. If i lift my leg and have nothing supporting my ankle then it hurts alot also. it isnt bruised, and isnt too swelled up. When i do attempt to put some weight on it and lay my foot flat, i cant have from my knee down straight or it feels like its going to crack. i dont know how to explain everything really well im only 14. but any good information and advice will be appriciated
thanks

My blood pressure is about 78/52 and the nurse said that I cannot donate blood because they would have to take me to the hospital and put it back in. Is that correct and if it is, does it mean that if I was injured and losing blood I would die more quickly than someone with normal bp?

It's been 18 days since my accident. I have pain in my lower leg or shins, completely away from the laceration. Is this normal? Any advice please, thanks.

I've been applying aloe and I have bandages over the places where my clothes are rubbing against the burn, but I'd like to accelerate the healing process even more. Any ideas are appreciated.

My daughter has been wearing glasses since the age of 2. The doctor says because she starting wearing them young we may be able to correct her vision. She will probably have to wear glasses until the age of 9/10. Has anyone had a similar experience and if so how successful was it? When can you get contacts or lazer surgery?

ive never had one so i dont know, but a while ago i was having sharp shooting pains on the top back left side of my head so i went to the ER and they x-rayed it and sent me home with a muscle relaxer and told me it was a muscle tension headache. The muscle relaxers do not work and ive been taking tylenol, excedrin and advil for DAYS and it doesnt help a bit! And now it has moved to the right side of my head right by my ear. Its EXTREMELY painful. The whole right side of my face is sore and it hurts to move my jaw. The pain sometimes feels like it comes right out of my ear. I still cant tell if its just some kind of horrible migraine or what. I would just like to get the pain taken care of but i dont have insurance and id hate to go back to the ER and go through all that expensive testing just to help my pain. And i cant afford the tests just over a headache...What should i do?
