This morning I noticed my ankles very swollen. It's freaking me out. I'm not pregnant or anything. How did it happen and what should I do to get the swelling down quick?

Drink more water and cut back on the salt. Also, you need to walk more. You can also lay on your back with your ankles in the air and rotate them to work some of the fluid out.

try laying down and put your feet up (use pillows) for a while and stop putting salt in everything you eat, too much sodium in your system makes you retain water and you start to get swollen.

Could be water retention. See a doctor about a diuretic and keep your feet up.

Eat less salt (sodium), because it causes water retention. Put your feet up whenever you can!
