My job doesn't provide benefits, but I'm tired of waiting to get Essure or a tubal ligation. Where can I find information about reputable insurance companies (that I can afford) that cover sterilization procedures?

I'm 26 and part of the childfree movement and willing to have multiple abortions if I cannot eventually get sterilized.

If you qualify, you can get it done for free at Planned Parenthood. Also, most states have some sort of state insurance program like California's Medical that may cover the procedure, they figure it's better to pay for it than multiple children on state aid. Look into Planned parenthood first.

Good luck

Most insurance companies don't cover voluntary procedures.

Sweetie, how old are you? I had my tubes tied when I was 28, ( i'm 46 now) & have had severe cramps and female problems ever since. Not to mention my weight balooned up to over 200 lbs. Please think twice before pulling the trigger on this!!!
