aloe vera is a very good gel/lotion/whatever you want to call it to help soothe the skin. Especially after a burn. It's what they use normally for sunburns and it is probably your best bet to help ease the pain. It's best to get a gel with as much pure aloe vera in it as possible.
Sorry that you're hurtin and good luck!

take an ibuprofen to reduce the swelling and redness, and put something cool on it to soothe the pain. She may have just used too much wax and it ripped the top layer of skin off. If you start getting a scab there, go to the salon and show them and ask for a refund. They are supposed to use powder on the skin before waxing to keep it from adhering to the skin too badly.

Apply a cold compress to your eyes (like ice in a washcloth or some cucumber slices (put them in the freezer for 10 minutes).
Never wax your eyebrows in a salon. They use the same pot of wax and often dip the same stick into the pot. This pot is not only reserved for eyebrows, but legs, arms and bikini areas. I don't have to tell you that the potential for herpes and the like is 10 fold once contained in a heated environment and then applied to another unsuspecting customer.
Do yourself a favor and try threading. It takes a bit longer but it is much more sanitary.
I hope this helps.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

the only time I ever waxed my eyebrows I had this take place. I placed something chilly on my eyes on and rancid. It helped ease the discomfort and swelling. i will carry on with tweezing for now on.
