General Health Care - August 2006

I have cerebral palsy and i had a spasm attack that lasted 45 min long last month. I have gone to an orapedic doctor yesterday and did a x-ray on my shoulder and neck. I have been trying to do physical therapy with my neurologist.the therapy hurts alot when i was trying it. So we stopped doing it. I go for an MRI on monday and supposed to have the results on thursday. My mom is against surgery but if my doctors said that i have to have it. Is it going to mess up my cerebral palsy and spinal cord?

Hey guys, I could use some house hold soultions if any of you can help. Thanks. My problem is my neck is swollen and my neck is out of alignment. Now I can't really do anything about it until I can get the swelling to go down. Problem is, ice is really working well so I am looking for something to supplement it. Due to other health issues I can't take Ib profin or any other drug that is a blood thinner. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, today while wearing a contact lens a black particle went into my left eye. It was really bothering me and I was in tears. I was not able to see clearly with that eye either. I thought perhaps it was the lens, so after few hours later, I threw away the lens. But I stilll feel the object in my eye. I think it's somewhere hidden on my upper lid. I feel it. And it's really bothering me. I still dont' see very clearly with that eye (perhaps it was like that, it's just I never noticed, not sure.)

My question is will that particle come out as eye booger or something after a while. I am unable to get it out... it's too inside my eye. Trying to washing it away didn't help either.

Please any opthal or optometrist here, let me know. Thanks.

I always wonder how do 46 million people leave in this country without health insurence. I know if you go to hospital they will treat you without insurence but don't you have to pay later on? what happens if you can not pay? do you have to declare bankruptcy? Thanks.

My MD is saying that it is anxiety, but when I took Buspar, my chest pain increased and so did my shortness of breath. I also have numbness and tingling in my hands and feet. I really am not sure. Could this be anxiety or even asthma???

My daughter is 2 years 4 months old and she doesn't even tell me that she wet or dirtied her diaper. She knows what the toilet is and how it works and what the toilet paper is for but she never goes on the potty when I or the daycare workers try. She's very smart and I'm wondering if she just isn't ready. I just don't want her to turn 3 and not be potty trained.

PS - I'm definitely not trying to rush her and I respect her if she doesn't want to sit on the potty. I'm trying hard but feel like Im getting nowhere.

OK so last night i had to take children's benadryl because we didn't have benadryl pills. So i took 4tsp. because it said for ages 12 and over take 2-4 tsp. soo last night i got this headache where i felt like i was moving but i was only being still. It kind of felt like my face was a little bit numb and that the top of my mouth seemed like it was moving, i also felt really lightheaded and felt like i was gonna colapse, i tend to get panic attacks so were they symptoms of panic attacks or did i accidentally take an overdose of benadryl? i was also really really sleepy and felt tired.
