have you possibly bruised it? it could be that or a fungal nail infection, you can buy anti fungal creams for this from any chemist. i had that i think with mine it was pressure from shoes. the nail may break off but dont worry because there will be a new nail growing underneath

It, very much, sounds like fungal nail infection, dear. See your doctor for a prescription. The advice given about bathing in Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca alternifolium) is a good one. It has antifungal and antiseptic properties.
Unless you do get it treated, it could well spread to your other nails too.

could be an infection under your toe nail..... remember to take proper care of you feet,go see a podiatrist and get a pedicare(smile) it makes your feet look and feel better... o my small toe is really jacked up--- it's all ugly.. but that pedicare makes me feel better about it... good luck
