buspar is worthless. if you have shortness of breath and chest pain due to anxiety..you need either a decent antidepressant or Xanax. if you think it might be other..see a specialist and have a stress test and a full work up on heart function. dont' feel like a hypochondriac...an EKG is not the end all of tests, and Buspar is not the best solution to anxiety. keep trying til you feel better and are sure you are free of any physical problems that could cause your symptoms. take care of yourself. doctors are human. exhaust all possibilities until you are comfortable with an explanation for your problems. otherwise you are adding to your fear and anxiety. good luck and be well

My wife actually just had something like this happen to her. We went to the hospital and her EKG was perfectly normal. They actually figured out that she had plurisy (an infection of the lining of the lungs). This is what was causing the chest pain. Also, they said the tingling in her arm had to do with a pinched nerve. You may want to have some of these things checked out. They put her on medication and it has helped. It has taken over a week for her to really notice a serious difference, but she is getting better. Hope this helps.

You can be having a heart attack and the ECG can say nothing is going on. You need to perhaps go to the ER, I would not play around with your symptoms, be on the safe side. Something is going on. Asthma does not make you have tingling in your hands and feet. You could be having really bad panic attacks but you still need to go see a doctor and have them run more test.

If you are tingling, you are probably hyperventilating. You need to concentrate on slow, deep breathing. That will bring in more oxygen and decrease the tingling. This does sound like an anxiety attack, especially if it comes and goes.

Sounds like an anxiety attack. Buspar may not be the right drug. YOu may also have a depression. Ask for Effexor. I was on it after my divorce, had many panic attcks with depression. Good luck

It does sound like anxiety and your doc does not sound to caring. See if you can find a better doc to listen to you. Maybe try some Yoga to help with stress relief.
Some anti-anxiety meds may help too.

It could be allergies....I get the same thing, with me it's caused by allergies to cats and mold. The numbness might be something else...like high blood pressure or a depressed nervous system. Complex Vitamin B helps.

anxiety, try to unstress yourself, doing deep breathing exercises will help, so will exercise and walking. Maybe ask your doctor to change your presription. Not every pill is right for every person, sometimes the doc needs to experience, Try Paxil or Wellbuttrin.
I suggest to go back and tell him its not working,

Sounds like anxiety. People react differently to meds, so maybe you just need a change.
