Hi

First you should go to the doctor's to get a thorough check-up. You may need (new) glasses.
Don't stare at the computer for too long. Take breaks every 20 minutes and look at something green (preferably trees or plants if possible).
Close your eyes from time to time and cover them with your palms for about one minute.

Food wise: bylberries and carrots can help but it will take more than food to help if you stay in front of your computer for too long.
Eat a balanced diet, this means a little bit of everything that's good for you such as vegetables, fruits, fish, meat, etc. Avoid too much sugar.

You may also be very tired. This can temporarily lower your eyesight. Or it's just the way you are. My eyesight started getting worse when I was a teenager. You really need to see an ophtalmologist to sort this out. There's no way out of it if you care about your eyes.

Eye sight can improve - my mother is one example of this. What she did was lots of eye 'exercises' looking up and down to the sides etc. Also focusing the eyes on far away objects again helps 'exercise' them.
Maybe adjusting the lights in the room - my mother liked to have natural light, so sitting back from the computer, have natural light shine onto it as well as doing eyesight ' exercises' once every 15 minutes or so is what I suggest. I could be wrong but if you are careful you might not need to give up using the computer ( or maybe that is best for you - if you suffer from head aches... ) Hope this works out for you!

I understand why your mom doesn't want you in front of the computer for prolonged periods of time... it's like staring at a light bulb in a way. But, if you dim it a little more than average, it may help her concerns.

Listen, speak with a nutritionist and I must also add that you may want to include some natural supplements that contain Collagen type II for your eyes (it's also good to help promote healing).

Yes, there is truth in the vitamins found in carrots, by the way but the most important thing is to avoid doing anything that causes a strain on your vision.

Hey, when I was a kid, I had to surrender an art scholarship I won at age 12 for art college due to my failing vision; I also abandoned art for many years. I was told that if I was lucky, I'd be walking with a white cane by age 30 or so... I'm 59 years old now and no problems.

What helped me? Certainly not my diet or any special eye exercises. I stopped wearing regular conventional glasses (the size of beer bottles) and started using hard contact lenses, the gas permeable types. How did it help? Well, it helped my appearance and my self-esteem and my entire outlook. My personality changed 100% for the better. The eye deterioration (I think that the hard lens had something to do with this) almost st oped.

Now, listen, it is not easy to get used to hard lenses... soft lenses are easier to get used to but they also have a bad reputation where the wearers get eye infections and the hard lens wearers do NOT! Yes, there's a certain degree of discomfort getting used to the hard lenses but... man, save your eyes and get them as soon as possible!

You have a lifetime ahead of you... it's really great to be able to see! Your eye doctor is not your enemy but, most important, your best friend in saving your vision.

You're far too young to even consider Lasix surgery (I am totally against it) and I would never even recommend it... there are no long-term studies on the effects of losing eye cells during the laser surgery sculpturing process. There's another procedure out now that is a tad too expensive and moreso if you consider that it is less evasive and far safer than Lasix where a tiny slit in made on the side of the eye and a soft lens is inserted beneath the eye's natural eye lens and it unfolds and goes to the center of the eye and gives you instant "cure" and you will have almost perfect vision. Yes, there will be a certain share of discomfort for 3 or 4 days but you'll have anesthetic lubricants to ease the discomfort. Imagine, with this new procedure, you open your eyes in the middle of the night and you can see... or you can go swimming in a swimming pool, a beach or lake and go in and out of the water and have good vision!

Speak with your ophthalmologist about this procedure! See if you're a good candidate for it. Also, ask him/her about vitamins and collagen type II, also.

Your wish is my command.
Most vision problems are caused by eye strain. There are many muscles that surround each of your eyeballs and they are instrumental in focusing your eyes. Many times these eye muscles get strained, and they tighten up, and in effect pull your eye out of focus.

1. There are some very inexpensive glasses that are called pin hole glasses. There are no lenses, there are black inserts that have many tiny pinholes in them. When you put them on, you will be amazed how clear your vision becomes. They allow your eyes to relax while being able to see very clearly. I will not go into anymore detail here, go to http://www.pinholeglasses.org/

It is safe and adviseable to use these glasses when using your computer. You will be able to see great.

2. I could go into a lot of muscle exercises for the eyes, but the pinhole glasses will do wonders for improving your eyesight.

When you get prescription eye glasses, they do nothing but allow your eyes to see in an out of focus condition. Your eyesight will get progressively worse, and you will soon need to revisit the eye doc for a stronger perscription, until you are wearing thick lens that look like saucers.

One eye exercise that was effective in helping a man who was certified blind, to improve vision to the point of being able to pass eye test for drivers license. It is called cupping the eyes.

Cup the palms of both hands and with your eyes open, place your cupped hands over your eyes and adjust to where no light is coming in. Keep your eyes open and you are looking into total darkness. Do this as many times per day as you can, and this will vastly improve your eyesight. There is said to be a healing energy in each hand and I believe this is what helps restore your vision.

I wish you a speedy cure.

These are the glasses the eye doctors don't want you to know about.

At that age, alot of eyesight problems are developmental. There's usually not much you can do about it. But if you don't get the appropriate eye care, it will almost definitely get worse. Just suck it up, go to the eye doctor, and get used to glasses or contacts. Hey, there's always laser when your older. Sorry!

Most people believe that once they are diagnosed with some vision problem and start wearing eye glasses or contact lenses to correct them, they will have to do so for life in order to see better. Those who want a permanent solution to improve eyesight typically resort to Lasik or other corrective eye surgeries. But you you can also improve your vision without surgery and can see perfectly well without using eyeglasses or contact lenses. You can check here to know how https://tr.im/33c02

This is the truth - so take this advice.
1.Wearing sunglasses (when ever you are outside sunny or cloudy days) with 100% uv will prevent and/or slow down future eye sight loss - guarenteed.
2.Make sure you sleep in total darkness at night - the reason for this is that if you sleep with your eyes slightly cracked open and there is light in the room your eyes will not properly rest at night and you will cause excessive eye strain on your eyes.

The computer can cause blurring if you sit at it too long in a day for several days.
You need to see an optometrist. You may have eye problems that will require glasses or contacts.
