i tried to potty train my daughter at 2 and it didn't work, so i waited, and at 2 1/2, one day, she just decided she was ready to go in the potty! they are very smart. maybe you should just wait. let her see that everyone else goes on the potty. i think she'll want to feel big one day and just do it herself. good luck!

My baby is turning 3 next month and is still not completely potty trained. He is very smart, but very stubborn. He does what he wants to do. I started making a big deal when he would pee in the potty and he finally just started poopin in potty. I bring him home special things from work when he goes all day without an accident and he tries harder and looks forward to what he will get. Good luck, just don't rush her. Just keep constantly reminding her that when she has an accident that she should try the potty/

Every child will learn when they are ready! Mine were different. 1st was 2, 2nd was 4, 3rd was 3. I trained my first in one day with the book "Potty training in one day" My mother trained my second child because I was getting so frustrated with him. And my 3rd Just decided it was time and went to the potty all by herself! Be patient, I have yet seen a child over 4 wearing diapers! Unless they had some other medical problem! Good luck!

My son was just about to turn 3 when he was fully potty trained. He sorta reminds me of Ur daughter. He would do "number 2" on the potty b4 he was 2 but not "number 1"! We didn't force the issue. When he started pre-school he finally was completely potty trained. I think he was embarrassed around the other children:)

My daughter was almost 3. She just all of the sudden stopped wetting her diapers and went to the potty on her own. I didn't try to potty train her, I just let it come naturally. I left a little potty in the bathroom where she could see it and she just started using it one day.

My daughters both potty trained themselves with very little assitance from me at exactly 3 years old. Every kid does it on their own terms, and around age 2 1/2 when I was just beginning to think they'd never potty train, my mom told me "Just remember, nobody goes to Kindergarten in diapers." It's so true and it's my motto for a lot of things that frustrate me about my kids, meaning that they will eventually grow out of every difficult phase. Just relax about it, don't mention it except maybe when YOU go to the bathroom, Say, Mommy has to go potty, would you like to come with me and try like a big girl? Other than that, just let her go on her own. She will.

She needs to start being potty trained. My mother said when I was 2 I could talk alright and said that i needed to poopoo or tinkle (giggles at my vocab. back then). She said that she would take me to the baby potty and have me do my business. Than when i was large enough to sit on the toilet without falling in, she would let me use the big toilet. my big brother, when he was 3 he fell in the toilet, so that's why!
It's okay not to be potty trained at that age. my cousin knew when to use the toilet at 4 (learned) and her mother wiped her till she was 7, so there are just some kids who are slower than others.!

All kids are different. My oldest son was 3, and diapers were just too small, so we told him, 3 year olds aren't allowed to wear diapers any more, that's just the law, so we put him in underwear. He had a few accidents, but that was it. Once he realized there were no more diapers, he started using the potty.
You need to let her go to the store and pick out several packages of pretty panties, that may help her feel like she has some input on the subject.

she will in no time at all just dont push her to hard. dont worry lots of kids I know are three and a little over and still not trained. Just always ask her nicely if she needs to use the potty and believe me this will happen all at once.dont be afraid to try and bribe her with a little reward either . I just cant belive how smart a two year old can be My little girl is 2 years and one month and she is slowly learning I let her wear panties while we are home and constantly ask her if she needs to go.
