Hello all. Here's the problem: My stomach feels fine before I start eating. However, 15-30 minutes later I start developing painful cramps and need to use the bathroom IMMEDIATELY (spelled "the runs"). Afterwards, I feel fine again. Foods like salad and cafinated drinks seem to trigger this. It doesn't happen everytime, but fairly frequently. Lastly, I don't think it is lactose related because I avoid dairy products. Thanks in advance

My doctor has just put me on a course of a steroid called prednisolone for a recent asthma attack. I have never been keen on the idea of steroids for medical applications (especially after seeing the recent Greg Valentino documentary) but, out of interest, I read the supplied leaflet and started my course as instructed and came up with the following questions. A)it says that this stuff is used to promote cortisone. Isnt this the enzyme responsible for muscle breakdown? B)There comes with the leaflet a section on warnings including allergic reactions, drowsyness, internal bleeding, addiction, cramps, blurred vision, mood swings and so on. I know that this stuff has been prescribed and isnt one of those lame bodybuilding drugs you buy off the street but is this stuff really safe for me to use?

Ok i have no insurance, no money, and major teeth issues. I'm petrafied of the dentist too. I had sedation dentistry work done about ayear ago and had 8 of them fixed but i have much more i need done. some of my teeth are broken in half and all.
I know I need to get to the dentist but what can i do in the mean time? i've read about cloves but does this work if you have broken teeth (some no tooth at all just a brown stump)? I need something to aleviate pain to hold me off for a couple of months till I get insurance which should be in like 3 months. then ill go. any ideas?
cuz i know most of them solutions are very temporary. If i take penecillin it helps but i'm out now.

When I was at school, my friend brought some Slipknot CDs, and when he played them, I started head bangin, jumpin around, and shouting like crazy.
After class, I had this weird headache...

another cause might be that I use glasses and that day I didn't use them. Or it could be cuz that morning, i took a shower in cold water...

I have a swelling on my right cheek around my jaw and my ear. It sticks out a little bit and if i look straight at a mirror, i can see it. But when i move my skin around by it, the lump doesn't move, so i think it might be internal. I did camp out a few nights ago, before it started, could it be a bug? It'd be great if a doctor could answer this.

The problem is that i went to a night club, and funny enough my left ear that was directed to the speaker has got no problem, but to my supprise it is my right ear that was affected, and i have been experiencing this for about two and a half months now. Anytime I tried to answer my fone calls through the impaired ear, its like a car is hooting to my ears and i wont hear anything nicely

What are the symptoms of MS? Lately my arms are tingling and I keep dropping things. My legs are weak and my feet tingle sometimes. A few people have told me it sounds like MS but every time I go to a family doctor or ER they tell me it could be severe allergies or a touch of myalgia. Not one physician has offered to send me for an MRI. Anyone had any experience with this?
If it is MS, what would my chances be of getting SSD if it gets worse. Right now it's hard to go to work some days and I have a family to take care of. Before anyone says I'm just looking for a way to not have to work, I have worked & paid taxes to support other people who don't work for over 20 years.

Las night, @ the dinner table w/my kids and my husband, out of nowhere, I felt like I got a "panic attack". I felt really wierd. Like I wanted to like blackout or faint. I felt a little dizzy. My feet and hands got really cold and I was kinda shaking. I felt like my blood pressure took a huge dip. I am not diabetic and I don't have b/p problems. I went and lay down flat w/my knees bent. Then I just went to sleep. Any idea what caused this? I hope this doesn't happen again, but if it does, how can i "get out of it" next itme??

We moved to Texas last year, and since living here, my skin is awful, I am constantly getting acne/blackheads and the like. I have never had trouble with acne, but now it seems that the weather here is screwing with my skin....I am scrubbing twice daily with nuetrogema but it isn't really helping. I am 32 years old, a bit old to be dealing with acne now isn't it? Any ideas on products I can try, or anything that might be helpful

I have a stuffy, itchy nose, sore throat and itchy sore ears. I just feel like crap in general. I have seen my doctor and she confirmed that as always it is just a viral infection and I will just have to wait it out. This could take a week and I don't think I can stand it this long, I am pregnant so I am also suffering with morning sickness all the while careing for two young children. So any tips on what I can do for relief, especially for the itchy ears would be a big help. Thanks a lot.
