Certainly shuldn't be taking the codine. The Pen is ok to a degree and the Denitist may want you to have it if there is an infection.
Try a local, a Xylocaine based ointment for teething and toothache on the gum and tooth.
If tylenol 3 ins't work it must be serious. Don't od on that, not great for the baby.
If the Pen isn't working then it isn't a root infection.
Both those medicine are what they normally give, not much else that can be done until a Dentist becomes available.

take an pain reliever like Advil, Tylenol, Motrin or Aleve. But if it's hurting so much, you should probably pay a visit to the dentist. Unfortunately, our teeth problems don't just go away :( better to get it fixed sooner than later. Feel better!

A personally tried and tested pain relief is placing a whole clove on the tooth and apply light pressure by biting on it. Good luck!

If they are no dentists open today , and you do not have a walk-in dental clinic , I suggest you go to ER , with your being pregnant I would'nt begin to tell you of anything else to try as far as meds , I feel for you , I've been there . Hope you feel better soon

Call your ob/gyn- don't take anything without talking to him first. Try calling a walk in er dental clinic-there has to be someone open today. You need to get this taken care of before the weekend, not only for you but for the sake of your unborn child. Don't take anything not prescribed to you by a doctor!

STOP taking the tylenol with codeine. That can have a bad efect on the baby. Take EXcedrin extra strength every 8 hours. and try to get help fast.

See if you can determine what the cause is, then worth with that. Maybe you just have a cavity! Or maybe the baby is trying to come out your mouth.
