I found that washing face with PURIFIED water is better because all the things in the water like chlorine and other bad stuff won't clog your skin. Mine started to clear up right away. Also, drink LOTS of water. The combination of the 2 really started to clear me up. Don't listen to others about getting medications or putting anything unnatural on your face. Go all natural because not only do you NOT want to dry out your skin, but you want to prevent damage in the future.
If it doesn't grow on a plant, don't put in on your skin!

Because of the weather, you must be sweating a lot, and have bacteria clogging up beneath your skin. Scrubbing is good, but scrubbing twice a day when you have acne makes the problem worse. Get a good facial wash - My personal favorites are Basis (the white one) and anything with Tea tree oil (you can get this at The Body Shop).
Wash twice or thrice a day, to avoid bacteria from clogging up. Mask once a week. I would ease up on the scrubbing until the acne clears. Maybe once or twice a week.
I also wanted to add that you should use a toner/astringent after washing your face. This clears the hard to get oil/dirt the wash didn't take off. You can get one (preferably Oil of Olay) at a convenience/drug store.

dont wash twice a day, youre creating more oil to clog your pores.
The best thing i have found for hot humid places (which breed acne) is Natures Cure acne treatments. Its homopathic and totally safe and works like a charm.
Along with that I go tanning at a salon, just twice a week for 20 minutes is more than enough to keep the zits at bay.
Whatever it is, its most likely a combonation of the heat youre exposed to now, and funky pH from new water and a new environment thats causing your 30 something bout of acne. Its possible that after some time (I know its been a year) it will even itself back out on its own if you jsut dont touch it. But thats something no one likes to risk.
Benzoil Peroxide, such as Clean & clear blemish gel, works great also, but you have to use it every night and every day, followed by a nice moisturizer (fruit of the earth vitamin e lotion from walmart is EXCELLENT), before all that i wash with a noxzema moist facial cloth or whatever they are. plus i do the natures cure tabs, and tan.
Works like a charm for me. Actually, after nearly ten years its the only thing that works.

I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!
Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:
1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.
There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/
that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

Try first consulting with a dermatologist, ,they might be able to point out exactly what is causing your skin to break out. Also keep washing your face twice daily but don't stick too long with one over the counter product because over a long time they become less effective. Also until you see a Dr. do the following which may help:
1. Keep your face out of the sun
2. Keep your hair away from your face, the oils in your hair can cause you to break out.
3. Keep the oil removal pad in your desk and use it during work
4. Reduce Stress which can cause you break out
5. don't touch cellphones or come near cigarette smoke, in hotter environments like in Texas oils and smoke tend to stick to the skin and cause break outs.
Hope that helps!! :)

Acne can be caused by and unhealthful diet, so limit fatty and sugary foods and eat more fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables are high in antioxidants ( which can guard against free radicals, something that causes skin problems). Four antioxidants include vitamin c, vitamin e, beta-carotene, and selenium. Hope this works!

Believe it or not, the scented hand sanitizing soaps from Bath and Body does pretty good with acne related issues. I believe that the active ingrediant is called triclosan.
