Well, many muscle rub ointments contain aspirin as an ingredient, however don't know if water alone would be a proper medium or how many aspirin to place in the water.
(one aspirin in a tub full of water would likely do nothing).
You could always use the standard epsom salts.

No not at all. External application of Aspirin dissolved in water is not recommended for muscular paid.
Aspirin is a wonder drug and it can actually do wonders by oral administration. It helps to reduce the risk of conditions such as heart disease and cancers, including of the colon, oesophagus, stomach, rectum, prostrate. cent.
For muscle relaxation you can do any of the following :
1. Take 3-4 Ibuprophin ( generic for Motrim )
2. Body massage with sesame Oil and taking bath in lukewarm water.
3. Bathing in lukewarm water with Epsom salt.

It probably work but a better method is use herbs in your bath water. Herbs do work for sure! I know cause I use herbs, mainly because I'm allergic to Aspirin, also aspirin also
causes gastritous if taken internally! In my opinion Aspirin is bad bad bad bad bad for you!

Maybe its just the placebo affect but after trying both I found that a couple of tablets of asprin in the bathtub works better than epson salt. But I do admit the epson salt does smell better afterwards.
