I have been with my boyfriend for about 2 months, I was diagnosed with HPV about 4 months ago...I have been holding off because I'm still not comfortable with my situation and the possibility of me giving him HPV. I told him I have it and he still accepts me and loves me for me! I love him so but, would I be better off being with someone who has HPV...should I let him go now before I get more attached?
P.S. I've known him for 10 years!

I will try and give a little background. We have been together for 5 months (were good friends before this) and obviously have been taking things slow. She has slept with a few partners compared to me (both in late 20’s) and contracted the virus through a cheating boyfriend. I TRUST her and know she is telling me the truth about her past & how she got the virus. I was supportive when she told me and just feel real scared about my safety!
We have something that I can’t walk away from and don’t know what to do now. It has changed the way I look at her and I am real disappointed. I have read quite a bit about the virus and have an appointment at a local clinic to talk to a counselor. I don’t have anyone that would rationally understand the way I feel about her (she may be the one!)….and wonder if the risk would be worth something that isn’t guaranteed. I would appreciate any help and support. Mike

last night my GF and I had some great sex. I used a condom, and I came inside her in the condom. After we had sex, we both thought that the condom broke, so I took the condom in the bathroom and poured water in it to assure her that it didnt break. I poured water into it, and nothing leaked out. Has anyone had this happen before?

it looks a lil yellowish but has no smell to it and she dont notice it all the time. she is also pregnant and those are the only symptons she has. thanks you for your info so i can pass it on.

A few weeks ago I had a hard BB size ball inside my labia area. It was very painful and the outside labia was blackish purple in color around that area. It almost felt like when you get a pimple inside of your ear lobes. it went away in a couple days. Now I have another one on the other side, not dark in color, but still very painful. Could this be herpes or a cyst?

i drank tap water from a cafe last week becuse i was short on money and could not afford normal water and now i am feeling ill and my friend said my symptoms are similar to AIDS symptoms (runny nose, sore throat, penal discharge) and i wondered if it could be possible to get it from the water???? i mean it IS recycled so maybe??? plz help im really worried :(

I had itching, burning and irritating bumps in my vaginal area. The doctor did a pelvic exam on me. He told me I have a yeast infection and vaginitis. He told me it wasn't any type of STD's because my cervix wasn't sore. Plus I took an STD test in October 2006 and everything came back negative. Anyways he gave me some medication and I just wanted to know when should it kick in. I read 3 to 5 days, but I just wanted to ask.

Ok a few months ago my ex-boyfriend and I had sex... sometimes without a condom... now I’m not afraid I’m pregnant. or anything I know I’m not I’m just scared I might have got something from him b/c he had been w/ other girls b4 me.... when we were still having sex I got my period a few times and my genitals itched... now we've been broke up for like 3 months now and I’ve been fine and today it started itching again however I’m now where close to being on my period... I have had a burn sensation all day but it doesn't itch nor does it burn when I use the bathroom. There's a vag discharge like when I ovulate, which I could be because its that time, and it is streaked with white. There is NO smell. I've had yeast infections before, back in high school, and I know this is the time for them (holidays and new job), but those always itched, not burned. Is this a yeast infection or something else, any ideas?
My doctor's clinic is closed today but I plan to make an appointment tomorrow morning, and I don't think this would justify a trip to urgent care/walk-in er.
