You actually can't tell right away if you have HIV without getting tested. Typically if an individual contracts the virus, then they get flu like symptoms with swollen glands around the neck. However, this is not always the case. You should get tested if you think that you have been exposed to the virus. You can go to free clinics in your area that can have the test results for you within 30 minutes to an hour. Keep in mind, HIV can take anywhere between 3 to 6 months to have a viral load in your blood that is detectable by these tests so just getting tested now doesn't always gaurantee an accurate reading. Get a test now and then try again up to 6 months later.

There is no way of knowing if you have HIV without being tested. People often think that HIV or AIDS has a look, but it doesn't. If you have unprotected sex you are at risk and should be tested regularly. Also, you can have sex with someone with the virus and it may not show up on tests for a year. Please wrap it up and good luck!

sorry but you dont. its just something you cant tell unless tested. so go to the doctors if you suspect you have hiv.or while in the process of dieing you can decide for your self if you happen to be really cold and cant warm up and you shaking uncontrollable. or you can just wait around the morg after you die and see what they say was the cause of death.
so go to the doctors! theres no cure but at least you can have a chance to live a little longer.

You don't. Most do not exhibit the symptoms of HIV until in the later stages of the disease.
