Definitely!
The virus lives on the skin even after the warts have been removed. All it takes is skin to susceptible skin (skin on the genitalia for one) contact. Condoms help, but are not 100% effective, because the affected skin may still be exposed. Spermicide with nonoxynol-9 will give added protection when used along with condoms. Not only does it kill sperm, but also viruses. And warts are caused by a virus. HPV stands for human papilloma virus.

Yes. HPV is transmitted via skin to skin contact. So if a woman has external genital warts, and a man rubs his penis up against her, even without penetration, than the virus can be transmitted to him (and vice versa).
However, if a woman has high risk HPV (the kind that can cause abnormal or precancerous cervical changes, not warts), then it would be difficult to transmit from her cervix to him unless they have actual intercourse.

You can get an STD without sex. By the way, HPV is not an STD.

Yes because it is an external related desease. Any contact with the HPV- which often can not be seen- can cause infection.

Yes, but it's not very likely. You can get it from using a public bathroom, or any public place I guess....I mean if you touch your winky to it. But really, how likely is it that you're walking around with your un-mentionables dangling free? If you have a serious concern, there is no harm in getting checked out by a doctor or nurse.
