he just take amoxicillin 500 mg. is that enough?

It depends on the type of STD he has. One pill of amoxillin 500mg. isn't enough. The best thing for him to do, is to see a doctor. That way he can get seen, find out exactly what he has, and it can be either treated or cured....also depending on the type of STD he has. If you sleep with him, make sure he uses protection. It might be, it might not. Did he see a doctor and does he know exactly which std he has? Some of them will respond to amoxicillin, but some of them won't. Until he is cultured by a doctor and the infection identified you can't be sure.

it's planning on what kind of STD it is, you might need something stronger.
