ive had a yest infection before but this one is different i got the itchy and the irritated part of it as well as the white discharge but now i also got this type of sore that burns when i urinate. Can this happen with a yeast infection? or does it sound more like genital herpes?

I need to know... Is HPV ( human pappiloma virus) a strain of the herpies family or not. I have been told it is for many years through our local cancer institute, as I have this condition, and have since had a hyst to deal with it once and for all. But people on this site keep saying it is not!! Please clear this up for me.

I was just diagnosed with genital warts and the things I have been reading are horrifying. I've been in a new relationship for about a month and we have been waiting to have sex until I knew what the discomfort in that region was. Now that I know does this mean I can't have sex with him? One time when I was taking a shower with my girlfriend, she needed to do a wee, and I had clogged up the toilet so I said she could just squat over the drain or something. My workplace toilets are really scummy and smelly. Most of the time I try and hold it until I get home because there is all kinds of nastiness on the toilet seats. When I go, I never sit on the seat anyway as I'm worried I'll catch something. Someone told me this was impossible and you can't catch STI's from the toilet seat. Is that right or am I right not to sit on the seat?
