Genital herpes is an incurable STD that is spread by sexual activity including oral sex. The cause is herpes virus type 2 whereas cold sores are caused by HSV-1. Although genital herpes is incurable, it can be controlled by various drugs, and typically subsides between episodic attacks called "flares". Complications are rare but the condition can be serious in the immunosuppressed and newborn babies. Pregnant women with herpes need to discuss the issue with their doctors to avoid infection of the newborn. (Source: WD Writers) Herpes is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) caused by the herpes simplex viruses type 1 (HSV -1) and type 2 (HSV-2). Most individuals have no or only minimal signs or symptoms from HSV-1 or HSV-2 infection. When signs do occur, they typically appear as one or more blisters on or around the genitals or rectum. The blisters break, leaving tender ulcers (sores) that may take two to four weeks to heal the first time they occur. Typically, another outbreak can appear weeks or months after the first, but it almost always is less severe and shorter than the first episode. Although the infection can stay in the body indefinitely, the number of outbreaks tends to go down over a period of years. (Source: excerpt from Genital Herpes: DSTD)

Mother Earth News): Genital herpes is a common sexually transmitted disease, which is treatable, but incurable with medications. It is caused by a herpes virus and is passed from one person to another by direct contact and presents as painful inflamed blisters on the genitals or skin. The blisters are normally preceded by a tingling or itching sensation and generally last a few weeks at a time then regress until the immune system is compromised and the rash reappears. The main complaint is due to the pain caused by the blisters which impacts on lovemaking, causing emotional stress that in turn exacerbates the disease. A person with a good immune system can sometimes cure the infection, and antivirals can reduce the time span and symptoms of the disease. Maintaining a positive outlook and keeping healthy is a good way of preventing outbreaks. There is no vaccine or curable medication as yet. More importantly, preventing transmission of the disease is simple with using a condom and avoiding intercourse when the blisters are present, as this is the most infectious stage of the disease, although people can still be infectious before any blisters appear. Herpes can be confused with syphilis, but syphilis presents with painless sores and has far graver consequences if not treated. Herpes during pregnancy is also a concern regarding transmission to the baby if the disease is active at the time of delivery, in which case caesarean sections are recommended

I got clinically diagnosed with herpes (type 2) about five years back, while I was still in college and had a mindless one-night stand. I know a lot of girls will declare this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores round her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/4LfMk everything changed.

Not only was I able to clear away all remnants of the herpes virus from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so fortunate to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This program gave me back the chance to be happy and experience true love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the World.

To learn how to solve your problems with herpes in a natural way visit this site http://herpescure.toptips.org

The herpes virus passes through tiny breaks in the skin or mucous membranes of the mouth and genital areas. Healthy skin acts as really good protective barriers against this infection. In cases of mucous membranes, even the slightest scrape or scratch is enough to expose the nerve endings into which the herpes virus entwines itself. This is the main reason why herpes infections usually manifest in areas where mucous membranes and normal skin merges. A good example is the corner of your mouth. The virus has been said to be passed on by sharing razors with an infected person. Unlike toilet seats, the virus can survive in the moist areas between the blades.

Visit the site that I suggested above. It really helped me.

It is a viral infection caused by the human herpes virus. Like most viral infections there aren't an effective cure. Only the effects are treated.

In other words - Do not sleep around! As this is a STD!

If you mean herpes it's a virus and there is no cure but you can get treatment that will help and reduce attacks. It's kind of like the cold sores people get on their lips.

No one is really sure how it started, but its a virus transfered by sexual fluids or blood. It has no cure. Once you have it you got it for life.
