I had an encounter (vaginal sex with a condom) with an escort, since then i am filled with anxiety. After 28 days i took PCR HIV, PCR chlamydia/gonnorhea, herpes igm, hepatitis B blood test, syphyllis. All came out negative. Is it ok to have unprotected sex with my new girl friend? If not how long should i wait to have unprotected sex.

The tests are a good thing, and the recommendation to wait six months is a good one.

Now, regarding unprotected sex with a new GF...do you know the results of *HER* tests? Are you willing to accept that risk? People have sex with many other people. Unprotected, you are not having sex with her, you are having sex with *EVERYONE* she has had sex with...do you know *THEIR* test results?

You can come up clean now and six months from now and think all is great and you don't need condoms. But if your friend is a professional escort and is sexually active with other guys, she can contract a STD at any time and pass it along to you.

The only reason to have unprotected sex is to have children. Pick only a date who would make a good mate. Do you want this person to be the mother of your children?

I think for HIV it's typical to wait 6 mos after possible exposure to see if it shows up. It can show up later than that, but generally you're considered "clean" if it's not positive by that point.

Do some research yourself on each of those diseases and see what you find re: how long before they typically show up in a blood test.

Give some thought in the future to how important an orgasm is to you. Was it worth the stress and anxiety you are going through now and will for some future time?

Learn the lesson.

if you used a condom and used it properly (it didn't break), you don't have much to worry about. Just crabs and warts, which suck, but can be treated and easily cured. Its good to get tested twice a year, but as long as you wear your raincoat, you won't get HIV or anything serious. As far as the new girlfriend, you both should get tested and wait six months, if you want to know for sure.

Is this a GF or an escort?

You seem so paranoid I think it would be better, even for your mental state, to use a condom till you (and your GF) feel you have had enough time together that you BOTH feel safe.

Def stick to condoms since you are in a "new relationship" Also, make sure she is tested too. You never know these days. Also, good job on getting tested!

No. You should have unprotected sex unless you want a baby. Period, no doubt about it. Use a condom.
