How much skin can it "eat" through.

Does anyone know if insect-repellent sprays can trigger photoallergic eruptions??

I have searched the net but can't find too much info.

For those that don't know, a photoallergic eruption is severe skin rashing and burning caused by the combination of sunlight and some chemical.

My mother keeps getting these eruptions when she goes to my dad's house and we're trying to eliminate all possible causes, but don't know where to start so we thought that maybe insect repellent could be the cullprit as my dad uses a lot of that.

Your help would be appreciated!

Thanx!!

I got a very itchy-rash allergic reaction after 2 glasses of beer, help anyone? its been 2days already...and i already took an anti-histamine but no good. :(

My respiration's alright but i developed a very very very itchy rash from my torso down to my thighs. Its so itchy (and painful in a way) that i could barely concentrate on anything. Hell..

I also noticed my skin to be a little more water-resistant when i take a bath, can't really explain it. And i get goosebumps every now and then which is very distracting and wierd.

Help anyone?

I had a biopsy taken on my leg a couple of months ago from this red rash thing (turns out to be a 'Sebrahoic Kerotosis'.

I don't think that the Kerotosis is the cause of it (it has never been itchy) but ever since the stitches have been in, it has been itchy. I was told by a friend that stitches may itch but it has been a couple of months now after the biopsy and it is still very itchy at times.

what could be the cause of it and what can I do about it??

My mom is worried and i told her not to. I looked it up and they say it can be Tinea ringworm but it dosent match anything like they said or look like in the pictures. I woke up with this and i just kept washing it. Is there any remedys to make it go quicker i dont want her worrying about this but she says if i can make it go away then she wont worry, So i need a home remedy please or some way to really shrink it down?? I always get boils in the areas where my skin is rubbing something - underarm, groin (worst here), and ankle. Sometimes it's so bad it hurts to walk. They seem to cycle - they crop up about once a month, last about two days, then start to grow and eventually drain. I've seen a doctor (multiple times), I've been given antibiotics but they don't do a darn thing, and I'm so stinking fed up! Is there anything to do?

I do not have a suppressed immune system, my cold sore drys up, bleeds occasionally, heals then repeats it, starting within hours after healing. Ive never had a cold sore last this long, its going on 31/2 weeks now. How can I get rid of it, what can I topically apply to it to make it go away and keep it dormant. No, I am not heavily stressed. Please, somebody help me.

ive had acne for about over 1 and a half years, i'm 16 and really hate it. im on antibiotics and have been for about a year and yet i feel as though it hardly has done anything in my eyes. its red, covers my cheeks and my chin with the odd bit appearing from time to time on my forehead. i have questioned latley if going on the pill will make it better as it is to do with hormones although diet aswell. i dont actully eat greasy foods such as chips, crisps or drink fizzy drinks, i in my eyes eat healthily like fruits, nuts, vegetables and try always to dirnk water. and yet it doesnt work so i question is it my hormones? can someone tlel me what to do!

...have started browny green lumps on then.
Why are my knuckles crusting over like this?
I'm 15 years old.
My fists do get put through a hard time and my knuckles often get the skin ripped right off.
I also have a habit of cracking my knuckles, and yes and know I need to stop.

I don't have rosacea, and the the little red lines aren't from sun damage, they're from scratching at/picking at acne. What are some topical treatments that can diminish them? And yes, I don't pick at the zits anymore-sins of my youth.
