Skin Conditions - August 2007

My Dad has it and it's driving him nuts!!! It's on both of his legs around the ankle/shin area. Cures would be wonderful but, stopping the itch remedies are also very welcome. Thanks!!!

The skin on my neck is rough and turning a black color. it looks liek it's dirty but its not it will not come off.

i think i got hemorrhoids, because i dunno i guess lately i have been taking mean shits...and when i wipe my butt i pluck some hairs and it hurts to wipe then...right now its itchy, and is kind of painful, and when i go take a shower...just are u so posed to be able to feel it when u touch it cuz i can lol...what is the best medication for this

Cause I was @ the batting cages, and I swung and like my skin bunched up, and I was like, ouch, not a lot though-I'm a maaan, then I swung again and ripped it open. THAT hurt lol. And everyoen was telling me that that's just gonna make it tougher and stronger. True?

i had a ganglion removed 2 weeks ago from wrist, i have a numb sensation on top of hand but it also stings, goes all the way to scar site, is this normal? it gets itchy but can't feel it when i scratch so doesn't cure the itch

These circles appears on his arms; forehead, legs, thghs and back. Some he says they itch and other times he never know they are there.

My brother has had a problem for a few years now, where he itches (especially when he gets out the shower), internally. It doesn't matter if he scratches, because the itching is internal. He takes certain medications and they only make the itching worse. I know how he feels, because when I was pregnant, I had the same thing. The doctors he's been to, don't seem to know what's causing it. He's tried benadryl and that doesn't help either. I'd appreciate any information I can get for him. Thanks.

Okay, I was born a white baby but I guess I naturally get tanned. I have a farmer's tan, where the parts that are exposed to the sun are tanned and the parts that I have clothing on are white. It's kind of weird, and since I am too lazy to tan my whole body all the time, I would rather take away the tan from my face and arms. If I would wear sunscreen SPF 30 every day, would that lighten up the tan, or take it away?

My friend and I were playing around with dogs, and I grabbed her hand, and she pushed back, and poked me in the eye... and now its like scratched, or bleeding on a little dot like spot (its a little bigger then a normal dot..) and it like burns.. right after it happened I rinsed it out.... but I don't know if I should be worried or not.. will it just go away????

i woke up a few days ago, and i noticed on the side of my butt i had a few purple squiggily lines there. i thought it was just marks from my pyjamas but theyre STILL there. i know theyre strech marks now, but do they ever go away? will i be stuck with thoes ugly lines forever? I have suffered from random and bad ance breakouts on my face. They are usually quite large sore-looking places. And turn into scabbed sores. I have been to the dermatologist several times, but none of the ointments or pills they give helps. Are there any home remedies or suggestions to help prevent my breakouts??

Ok well i am a "bigger" girl and when i walk my theighs(excuese my spelling) touch and rub and when school starts i walk alot more which causes my theighs to rub more and that makes them red around the top. They become red about every other week. and it hurts really bad when they rub but then like two days later it stops. is there a way to prevent that? and how do you treat it?

My husband has this problem and it is REALLY bad. I mean not just itchy, it has him writhing on the bed trying not to scratch. He has tried lotion right out of the shower but it made him itch more. It also happens when he sweats. What could this be? I think its more than just dry skin because of the intensity of it, plus even with the lotion its worse. Anyone else have this problem? What should he do?

I want to wear jewelry!!! But it breaks my skin out.. earrings make me ears itch and i can't help but scratch them..
and the buttons on my jeans break my skin out,
I can't wear necklaces (had such a bad rash that i had to get a shot at the doctor), and I cant buy cute clothes that have rhinestones or chains on them.! I seem to be able to wear jewelry on my wrist with no problem though. What can I do? Should I put tape around the post of my hoop earrings? Coat it with something, like candle wax or.. glue or something? this is sooo irritating. Even the ones that say "nickel-free" give me problems sometimes. And what causes the skin to break out?
