i got a lot lot of bite mites from sleeping in my friend's bed one night. i went to the dermatologist and she prescribed me some desonide lotion, cetirizine (oral) and an optional dihydrochloride if it is too itchy. i used the desonide and the cetirize for 2 days and my bites seemed to be getting better but on the 2nd night i took the dihydrochloride and when i woke up my bites were swelling up! they were really itchy and they were worse than ever! i don't know if it is because of the dihydrochloride or is it just a coincidence? why is my medication not working?

I have a forehead scar where I had hit my head last year. It has a gash like appearance and turns real red sometimes. What is the best way to lessen the appearance of this scar especially the redness??

I have like a birth mark on my arm. It's small & pinkish. I've had alot of brown recluse spiders around my house and inside it. I'm afraid I might of been bitten. Does anyone know any signs to be positive if it is or isn't a brown recluse bite? Don't tell me to go to the Doctor, if it gets bigger I will, but for right now I'm just wondering what it is.

It says on the bottle that it helps prevent and fade existing stretch marks. Has anyone ever experienced improvement as a result of using cocoa butter? I have read mixed answers from different dermatology websites.

It's driving me mad! I used to wear it all the time and now I can't wear it for more that 12 hours without it irritating me - my skins kinds of blisters. Anyone got any ideas why this might have happened?

I was 16, had some bad acne, so i took accutane and it worked 100% after the cycle all acne was gone. But about 6 months later it came back, so now im on it again. After this cycle will my acne be gone forever??????


Also, would i have a better chance of getting rid of acne if i just ride out the storm? Is accutane just delaying my body's way of taking care of acne??

Im 17 now, I dont want acne in my 20's!!!

I got a presription for the above a few years ago and it works great for the redness around my nose. i put it on in the am and the redness is gone for the day. i am running out though and the Rx is now very expensive because it is considered a compound. The rx would be over $50, but if I get a tube of cutivate and a tube of ketokonazole and mix it myself it would be only $20. The problem is I don't know what proportion to mix them in. If there are any pharmacists or doctors out there who can direct me to the right place. is it just a 50/50% mix that i can do myself? I know there is a handbook for Rx's that i can probably get online, but I need the name of the book. thanks.

I have two red spots on the inside of the lip.... They are like raw skin that are tender to the touch.
What could this be???? It has been there for almost a week now and I cannot have intercourse because it causes me pain when they are rubbed against.
Please help!?! I'm scared....

a day before getting my period i felt like a pimple/lump under my breast. Im overweight with large breast. it was painful when I touched it, then when i raised my hand it would hurt. It felt swollen from the inside and it was a bit red on the outside. 1 day later i noticed a tiny black spot just in the middle of the redness but the swollen is reduced.
today it has been 6 days now, i dont feel pain only when i press on it and it got down to a size of pea. but the black tiny spot is still there, no redness. should i be concern? or is this cause of my period and sweating in a closed area?

He does absolutely nothing to try & get rid of it. He has been given several diff. medicines for it, but they don't know what might work, because he puts it on for 2 days & then quits if he doesn't see immediate results. Is it wrong for her to ask him to wear long sleeves whenever they go out together ?

About 2 weeks ago I suffered a severe allergic reaction to an antibiotic shot that resulted in hives all over my body, from the neck down. Since they have cleared up I cannot seem to get my skin's moisture level back up to normal. Does anyone have any thoughts on this I'd really appreciate it thanks.
