I looks kind of like a mole and it went away for a while, a brown spot remained and the bump seems to be getting back.

i have a really unusual problem: i'm turning everything orange! really! at one point a few months ago my green towels started getting orange blotches on them that looked like bleach spots, so i assumed i must have gotten something on them, even though i hadn't bleached anything lately. then about 6 of my shirts started getting similar blotches, and then even the foam part of my earphones turned this bright bright orange. after i take a shower my mom says she's noticed an orange ring around the bathtub drain... and the strings on some of my pants have been doing the same thing. i'm 13, i don't eat anything weird, not if you don't count a lot of pickles and black olives. i don't sweat a lot. what could be causing this problem? no doctors my mom's taken me to has been able to figure it out yet... they just end up saying "weird... are you SURE it's not face wash or shampoo or bleach or something?" lol. anything you might MAYBE think could be happening is very much appreciated... thx... lol

I had a abscess that was the result of MRSA on my lower buttocks removed about a week ago. I have removed my packing, and it has been six days since the packing has been removed. It is healing very nicely, the hole that was there has filled in with healthy tissue. I keep a sterile bandage over it at all times, and wash it once a day in the shower with antibacterial soap as my doctor instructed me to.

However, as its been healing, MAN, has it been itchy! I find myself having to rub on the bandage vigurously to soothe the itch. I know this is coming from healing, but I wanted to know if I can put any kind of antibacterial ointment on it, primarily to soothe the itch, but at the same time, aid with healing. My doctor said it was not necessary to put ointment on the wound, and I wouldn't want to, but I just know I want to put SOMETHING on it because it itches so bad.

Thanks!

I have been bothered with dry flaky skin at the side of my nose for almost 2 weeks now. It is not much, but I just can't seem to shift it for the life of me!! I moisturise twice every day using nivea and have also tried putting vaseline/sudocrem on it at night.

It is not getting any worse, but doesn't seem to be improving either.

I don't want to bother the doctor as it seems very trivial.

Could it be eczema? Or am I just being a hyperchondriac?

I have mild nail fungus on toe and nails, on sosme nails but I want to remove the fungus, it looks a little dry and cracked but not like yellow, green or any color. I am using some over the counter product called "Fung off" which is a liquid thing. I´ve heard of Lamisil tablets, does that work? have you tried it? how long does it take for that to work? whats the cost?

I have had these weird pod-like spots all over my body. I don't know what it is. Whenever i apply soap in it, it becomes a wound and it bleeds for sometime. I think these are pimples but pimples are supposed to be in the face (Or am i wrong about that?) They are all over my arms, legs and my chest! I need help..

I am 24wks pregnant and I have a 13month old. I have had the chicken pox before when I was younger and now I suspect that I have shingles. I went to the emergency room yesterday and the doctor said that she thinks it is impetigo, very unlikely, the rash is very very painful. She gave me a cream to put on it and it seems to be just getting worse and so is the pain. The rash consists of about 12 medium small red and purple blisters on my inner forearm close to my elbow, the skin under the blisters is deep red. My whole arm seems to be hypersensitive to any touch. Has anyone ever had shingles, and if so what were your symptoms? And any suggestions on how to deal with the pain? I can't sleep.
Thanks

So I have this thing on my body, somewhat circular, but not quite. Looks small and red like a pimple. It has a white tip. I didn't want to "pop" it cause it wasn't really "raised", it was more flat with a white very small white tip.
My question is, if this is ringworm, how long does it take for it to really show as a circle and the hair in the middle to start falling off?

Hello,

I am 28 years old, and since I became a teen(got more hair), I started to notice that my legs get red/purple spots when I stand for too long, am cold and when I am anxious or nervous... I went to some doctors but they just called it "cold legs", they did not know for sure... the spots don't itch or hurt... they go away if I pressure with my fingers, but after a little while they appear again. When it is hot, they do not appear at all. When I am exercising, they do not appear. When I am laying down, they do not appear. They really bug me, because I cannot wear shorts because I get self-conscious if they show up... I get very insecure, and then I get anxious, and they appear...I believe it is a circulation problem, because after they are gone, my legs look normal, no itching or bumps... PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!! If you know anything about this or have any pics that you think might help me identify what I have, I will be FOREVER thankful!!!!! THANKS again for taking your time..

Today I had an appointment in this tiny office with my 6 month old son. There was this little girl that ran up to us and she wanted to see the baby. I noticed that she had a funky looking bald spot on her head and I got a little worried so I told her the baby was sleeping so she would go away. Turns out my mommy's intuition was right. A lady came out right after the girl left and she sprayed down everything. I asked her what was going on and she tol me that the girl had had ringworm. My son never left his car seat so I'm not that worried about him. But I was sitting in a chair that she migh have been in. So it could have been on my clothes... and the more I think about it, the more I itch. My head is unusually itchy and my back needs constant scratching. How long does it usually take for signs of ringworm to appear from the time of contact? I know what to look for, I just don't know the time line.
