Just like a doctor told me a bump is a good thing, if the spot where you hit your head is sunk in that is a very bad thing and should seek out a doctor immediately. the doctor told me for a bump on your head use tylenol or ib profun for the swelling and use the ice pack if needed. and that is about all you can do for it.

What your doing is good, but there is nothing you can do to make the bump go down, it's swollen and needs time on it's own to heal and go down , it should go down within a week, if it's still there then get it checked.

an ice pack is about it. the bump will go down in it's own time, you cannot speed the process anymore than you have already.

You can also press down really hard on it. The bump is caused by your body's reaction to pump blood to an area that is hurt, so that it can repair itself. The bump can be slowly reduced by rubbing it hard, even if it does hurt alot, it'll be worth it later.

yes, that and ice on it to numb pain and reduce swelling as well.
