So I have this thing on my body, somewhat circular, but not quite. Looks small and red like a pimple. It has a white tip. I didn't want to "pop" it cause it wasn't really "raised", it was more flat with a white very small white tip.
My question is, if this is ringworm, how long does it take for it to really show as a circle and the hair in the middle to start falling off?

This is not ringworm, which is actually a fungus infection related to athlete's foot. It often occurs in the groin area (known as "crotch rot") and in the armpits. It can be cured by regular application of an anti-fungal ointment, OTC. What you have sounds more like an infected hair follicle. If there is a hair growing out of the white dot area, it is safe to pull it out (that hurts a little) and then wash it with soap, dry it, and put a small band aid over it. It will heal in a couple of days. If there is no hair visible, it may still be a follicle. You can pop it, then wash, dry, and apply a band aid.

A ringworm is a whitish color round area - all around it, there will be reddish little dots like in a circle around the white.
You do not seem to have that.

Check if you have some on your stomach area. I would not pop them. Put triple Antibiotic Ointment on them - if it does not improve within few days - go have them check out. It's always better to be safe than sorry!

Try the skin rash page at the source below. It discusses ringworm.

I would say it is a rash and not a ringworm.
