a day before getting my period i felt like a pimple/lump under my breast. Im overweight with large breast. it was painful when I touched it, then when i raised my hand it would hurt. It felt swollen from the inside and it was a bit red on the outside. 1 day later i noticed a tiny black spot just in the middle of the redness but the swollen is reduced.
today it has been 6 days now, i dont feel pain only when i press on it and it got down to a size of pea. but the black tiny spot is still there, no redness. should i be concern? or is this cause of my period and sweating in a closed area?

The spot under your breast was probably a pimple, and still has a blackhead in the original blocked pore. Hormonal changes associated with the menstrual cycle have an effect on skin all over the body, although we usually just think of it on the face it can cause breakouts anywhere. I imagine you probably also wear underwire bras for the extra support they offer. Those tend to rub the skin under the breast, and combined with the dark, moist conditions, can also lend themselves to encouraging a spot to form. The pain has disappeared because the body took care of it, and it has drained some on it's own. The original pore is still blocked, from the sounds of it, though. That you can take care of yourself, if you like. Just use on of the blackhead remover strips they sell for clearing the nose. It might be a bit of a trick to use it there, but it will work just as well to clear the pore as it will on your nose. You may have also formed a cyst in the spot, and those can and do fluctuate in size from time to time, and are hormone influenced as well. If it doesn't completely disappear on it's own in a week or so, then you probably will do best to see the doctor and ask about having it removed. If it is a cyst in that spot, the continual rubbing from the bra will do nothing but irritate it. To help avoid the problem in the future, you need to check the fit of your bra. It should be holding the breast tissue up off the wall of your chest, and should fit snuggly but not tightly around you. Most women actually do not wear the correct bra size, and it's worth the money to have one professionally fitted in a proper bra shop, and to invest in a good one as well. You will want to keep the area under the breasts dry, and can use a medicated body powder for that. Just be sure you very carefully wash it all off before bedtime and get the skin good and dry. Until you can get a bra fitted well, you should keep a bandaid on the area to prevent further irritation, and of course, don't be poking or squeezing it. If you like, you can put a drop of the acne gel on it, to see if that will help it some. It won't hurt anything. You can also apply moist heat to get it to drain by itself, just keep the skin dry otherwise. If you correct the bra fit, and keep things up off the chest, and the skin dry, you should be able to avoid another showing up.

I sincerely doubt this is breast cancer, dear. If only getting rid of breast cancer were as easy as popping a pimple. What we have here, at least to my thinking (haven't seen it or treated you...) is that you have a pimple, probably a big one. It got a bit infected, hence the pus. My advice is to put a bit of neosporin or triple antibiotic cream on it every 4-6 hours for a day or two and it should be fine. If it isn't, THEN maybe someone needs to check it out. Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Sounds like a blackhead that got irritated, but it is common for glands to swell close to the time you menstruate. I would give it another week then if it dosent go away see your MD. Keep the area clean just in case it is a blackhead, you dont want it to get infected and turn into like a boil or staph.

Make an appointment with your OBGYN. The fact that it's the size of a pea is alarming. Please get a mammogram, or professional opinion. PLEASE.
