Skin Conditions - October 2007

I have had this blister for about 2 weeks. My county has had a lot of cases but I dont want to over react. Can any one tell me what it looks like and symptoms?

He took zero medical history, only filled out form with name and address and insurance. No assistant took any medical history.

I was told I have eczema..I broke out in an extremely itchy rash on my calves after remodeling. He concurred it was probably an allergy (to the dust or possible mold stirred up) that went to eczema.

Natural treatments I tried did not help. I want to get rid of it as it is unsightly and itchy but I am worried about potential problems.

He ordered a steroid cream (betamethasone dip aug .05% cream) for 6 weeks. He said it would be a lot better in a week but if I discontinued it before 6 weeks, it may come back.

I have just been told I may have high blood pressure, I had a fasting blood sugar of 151 (but ai c was 5.9)..this means I am prediabetic they said, Also I have developed severe gout and have arthritis. I am also clinically depressed and long felt I had adrenal insufficiency due to high stress for 20 years and symptoms of this.

i used to have long hair but not anymore, i don't really like my new look but i think it wouldn't look so bad if all the skin on my head was the same tone. there's all these splotches and light spots, is there anything that can be done about this?

I've had tiny bumps on my nose for years and I'm not sure what they are. You wouldn't even notice them unless I was in a certain kind of light, or you were really close to my face. They're not red. They're not big. They don't itch, hurt, leak anything, nothing. They are just there. I wash my face daily and I use acne products. The products work on blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, and whatever else, but not these.

What are they? How do I get rid of them?

Has anyone ever heard of Plantar's Warts going away spontaneously? I had a couple of small ones for a couple of years, and now they are going away without treatment of any kind. I didn't know this was possible.

Okay, I was doing my 14 month old daughters hair this morning and while I was putting it up I noticed something crawling on her scalp! So I picked it off! I found like 3! Well they were like clear with a little black dot! I found no lice eggs at all! So I have been looking on line to see if it was lice! It really doesn't look it as the pics are so magnified! So if there is no lice eggs and they were crawling on the scalp, what could it be? My dog is usually outdoors, but comes in at night for a little while! So could it be fleas! Fleas are black! I just don't know! So what do you think it could be? Like I said no lice eggs and clear with a little black! very tiny, but crawling! There was only 3! I checked her whole head! i have just had circumision about 5years ago and it was in a foregin country so it was not as good..i have mant scars and i was wondering if anyone knew a good oinment or treatment that will take away or lessen the scar tissue? because i dont think girls would really lke to see that :(

I am on an oral medication for my acne and I follow the face washing plan that my dermatologist gave to me
but i am starting to get this one horrible cystic pimple right underneath my right nostil
if i smile to big it hurts
and if i touch it
it hurts soooooooooooooooooo bad

it is a huge one
and i have a concert to go to in 2 days so i really don't want a huge welt by my nose in the pics
and i don't want a bloody scar

but if you know of ANYTHING at all to help make the pain go away PLEASE help me

A couple weeks ago I started getting bumps that I thought were ingrown hairs, but they are not healing and they hurt and are hot. My husband told me about a week ago that there was a flesh eating virus going around and amybe I have that. I thoguht he was joking, but I got a magazine in the mail from my health insurance and that is the cover story. It is a short article, basically it just says wash your hands, call your dr and if you get this disease you'll get pnuemonia. What all do you know about this disease? I ride the public bus and work in a pharmacy, so I'm a little nervous about this. I do have an appointment already set up in two weeks for another problem, and if this still persists I will of course ask my dr. Thanks!

i started getting acne in 9th grade and now im in 10th.. i have the worst acne scars EVER!!! and i still get pimples.. i pop them just to make then smaller and not so noticlable.. obviously it isn't working. i wash myface in the morning and before bed.. i wear a ton of makeup! and i really don't want to but if i don't i will look horrible .. you have no idea. and the make up is my security blanket. without it i feel i would have no friends. but i want to be able to have clear skin.. but how can i get rid of the scars.. i use merderma, and it kinda works but it makes my face itch soo bad!!!! i need help!!!!

I am 18 years old and have noticed that my scrotum is starting to get red and dry, and it almost seems as if it has too much heat in that area. I am sexually active, if that is necessary. Would anybody have any suggestions? Thanks

Ok I just started a new job at a restaurant.
I have been working there for a week and all of the sudden I have these tiny red dots on my face some under my nose and the rest on my chin, They are kind of painful and sting if I rub across them...
Before I worked here I NEVER had ANYTHING on my face... I hade like maybe one zit a year. My pores are also getting enlarged which is pretty strange considering I could barely see them before.
What can i use to stop this???

Here is the description of my ring:

14KT White Gold
20 Tapered baguette & round diamonds
w/ a 1/10 carat marquise center
equaling 1/4 carat T.W.
(.23 - .28 carat T.W.)

I am not able to wear any kind of fake jewelry, such as: cheap watches, rings, earrings & necklaces...if i do wear fake jewelry, i get this red rash and it itches constantly...i had this ring my fiance gave me back when we were dating and it was so pretty, apparently it was something my skin was allergic to and it gave me a red rash on my finger from where the ring was and it constantly itched.

Does anyone know what is wrong and if i could possibly do something for my engagement ring so that i can wear it? We're getting married in a month and im wanting to wear it then, i have been wanting to wear it for the longest time but i cant =[

It's toward the bottom close to where my eye lashes start. It hurts sometimes and sometimes I can feel it's there. Does anyone have an idea of what it could be?

My skin gets dry and red usually after I moisturize it which kinda defeats the purpose, but I can't use anything too moisturizing because I have really bad acne. Is there an anti-acne moisturizer out there that's good for sensitive skin?

Within the past week, I've been getting strange bug bites. I looked up pictures of bug bites online today and some of the bed bug ones are exactly like what I have.
So now what do I do? Wash everything? Call an exterminator? I read on one website that I shouldn't try to sleep somewhere else because they may follow me (I live alone) because I'm their source of food (EW!).
I went out of town last weekend (about 10 days ago) and took my pillow to the hotel. Could I have brought them back with me in my pillow and gotten bit this fast?

Help, I don't know what to do, I don't have a lot of money for an exterminator or new mattress (and I've heard the new mattress may not even help). And I can't sleep cause I feel like bugs are crawling all over me! Does anyone know how to get rid of them?

So it's been about a year and a half since my dad started to notice that the outter side of his ear right at the top was turning a bit dark. About a month ago it started to hurt and become very uncomfortable he went to a doc. and he is not quite sure what it might me. He is only 20 years old, but his feet are weird, with rough skin on the bottoms, and he's always picking at them. What is with that? Has anyone else seen a young guy with that? He does swim a lot and is quite an athlete, but it's not athlete's foot, I know because I've seen both....I am his aunt, and he has no idea that I am asking? He picks at his heels like a bad habit....
