I think you may be having an allergic reaction to something you came into contact with or ate. Try to figure out if you just got a new pet, or ate something you aren't used to eating. Also, if you aren't allergic to Benedril you should take a dose and rub your body with Sarna lotion. It is a lotion especially designed for itch. You can buy it at Walmarts, Kroger, or ask a Pharmists it is nonperscription over the counter. Take an oatmeal bath and rub the Sarna lotion over your body and pop a benedril. If that itch lasts too long, see a dermatalogist, it could be serious, but not likely. I itch like that sometimes too and found I am allergic to my dogs.

If you have a history of eczema, then it is likely that. You may also have gotten a bacterial infection that cause you to itch like crazy. Or you may have a sudden allergy attack. Possible allergens are pollen, dust mites or food, etc.
Before you attempt to apply any treatment, you need to know what you are suffering from. Using the wrong treatment does not help. If it has been going on for one week already, you should see a doctor asap.

you can take a warm bath in water with oatmeal put inside of the bath. Bath salts may help as well. After that Goldbond Medicated powder works wonders.
