oily skin doesnt equate to bad skin, if u have oily skin, ur less prone to wrinkles. however, it promotes acne growth. personally, i also have very oily skin. to keep the normal oilyness of the skin, i use neutrogena soap bar particularly formulated for acne. it keeps my face's oilyness normal and has been keeping me from having major pimples for a long time now. i only use soap because im a guy.

An oily skin , as the name implies, is one in which the sebaceous or oil-producing glands are over active. As surface grease tends to attract dirt, an oily skin acquires a dirty surface film , that needs to be removed daily. For more details log to http://useinfo-oilyskin.blogspot.com/

ok my skin was soooooooooooooooo freakin oily cuz all i was doing was drying my skin out..... i washed it twice a day and put on prescription creams....but it was still oily!
but then a make up artist told me that i should balance the "drying out" phase with moisturizing.....so then my skin wouldnt be completely dry and overcompensate for a lack of moisture...
so get a good oil-free moisturizer....and after you wash your face or put on a cream.... put a little moisturizer on that should help

Perhaps you are over-washing or cleansing, or using some harsh toners? This can lead to oily skin. Try more gental treatments.

Oily skin, good!! You will look younger, longer. It can suck for the short time you are young. Don't dispair, sooner than you think you will have outgrown the teen ''acne'' phase and your current problems in retrospect will seem minute.
