Skin Conditions

I have had this thing for about 4 years that is slowly growing. It looks like a whitehead and is about the size of a pencil eraser. I think it might just be a pimple trapped beneath the skin so it has no place to go and keeps growing. I thought eventually it would go away on it's own but now I don't think so. It's neither hard nor soft... kind of feels like puss inside of a sack. From researching on the internet I believe it is what is called a "sebaceous cyst" but I am not sure.

My question is can I remove it by puncturing it with a (sterile) pin/needle, will it drain out like a regular whitehead pimple? Or do I need to go and get it cut open by a doctor? Lastly... will it bleed at all or a lot? Does anyone have anything that matches my description?

I know a lot of people will say "see a doctor" just because they don't want something bad to inadvertantly happen, but please be honest. I won't hold you liable for anything that happens from your advice :P.

This is no joke! I found a small dark spot on the outside of my nipple and tried to pick at it.. it was like a scab but wouldn't pick off. I managed to get a little bit off but it was annoying me so I took a pair of tweezers... omg! I pulled out this white yellowish THING, from my nipple, it looked like an ant-sized slug, and I freaked out so I smooshed it between the tweezers and it flattened like dough. WHAT THE HELL WAS THIS? IS THERE AN ANIMAL LIVING BESIDE MY NIPPLE?! I'm sick with disgust, I'm ready to go vomit. Right now I'm left with a small red hole, it looks like what you're left with when you get a needle from the doctor but it's a little bigger and it faintly hurts. Huh?!

I know there are many threads here about acne and all but what i am seeking for isn't a cure..i just wanna read recounts of people who are suffering or suffered from it before and tell me about the social impacts of it cos right now my life is really bad because of it...
and friends just tease me or just a slight mention of it and it can spoil my whole day...
i still remember there's this one time i went shopping iwth my friend happily when i accidentally stared in the mirror and it was horrendous...i just said i wanted to go home for less than an hour after i stepped out of my door step..
and there's this one time i was close to throwing a glass of water at my mom cause she mocked me for nto watchign my diet and that's why i have acne...

please anyone facing the same situation as me please share..

P.S dun recommend me products or make comments like "you are overreacting" please..

It started with body aches, specifically in my right arm. THen there were chills and fatigue. I thought it was a bad cold. The arm pain became worse and then the painful red bumps began emerging on my hand.

It was misdiagnosed twice at a minor emergency clinic, and finally, today, at the dermatologist, it was diagnosed as shingles and I have begun taking an antiviral med.

The pain is absolutely horrible, but my question is this: How long before I am not contagious to friends who have not yet had chicken pox? I have a friend who has never had chicken pox (and who is now immuno-suppressed, due to her cancer). She was going to come over for Christmas, and I was wondering if, after 4 days of this med, will it be ok for me to be around her?

Also, how does shingles spread from person to person (in the sense of non-chicken pox people developing chicken pox)? Is it by touch or by breathing the same air? Any and all help will be most welcome! Thanks!

Yesterday I noticed a small rash on my arm by the evening it had spread over my whole body. I went to the doctor today and he did blood work and said everything was fine with that. He thinks it may be a sea food allergic reaction. He has put me on a steriod called Medrol. So far no relief has come. Anything I can do to help with the itching? Any body have similar situations?

Over the past weekend and early in the week, I suffered from food poisoning. As a result, I now have what seems to be pretty bad hemorrhoids/anal fissures. I haven't looked but it seems that the entire rim of my anus is swollen. Pain is not as much of an issue, as that I can deal with, but it is the bleeding. For the past 2-3 days, it has been bleeding consistently. Not a lot on a regular basis, just more as if it is completely raw, like a bad scrape. I've tried sitz baths, neosporin, ice packs, and resting on my stomach as treatment.

The pain has dramatically declined, so I have a feeling it is working somewhat, but the bleeding has not. I have yet to try Tucks pads as I have seen recommended, are they really the best way to help stop the bleeding and are there other home remedies to stop it?

I have been to a dermatologist because i have oversized, gooey, blistering pimples. the docotor says that it's only acne so he gave me perscibed acne medicane. it didn't woirk at all! i want to know what these things may be and what makes them go away. i would appreciate lots of good answer please

On my arm, there is an area with bumpy spots about a 2 inch diameter or so and it's not red or anything & you can't even notice it until you feel it, but it's dry and had small bumps and sometimes it's itchy.. what IS this? I'ts been there for a while..
