Sounds like fleas - do another 'fog' and also make sure you wash the throw pillows on the sofa and if you have carpet do a 'fog' in that area too - give the pets a dip -
If you don't have pets perhaps someone you know does and they 'jumped' in to your house -

I am not sure the area where you live, but I know that Bedbugs have made a dramatic comeback. We have had them in an aprtment in New Westminster, BC and it took 8 spray treatments and the throwing out of all our beds before we got rid of the little buggers. We would get bitten everywhere, but the majority of the time it was on the legs and it always itches. The best way to find the bedbug (if this is what you have) is to look at the mattresses that you have and look under the edgings all around. If you have Bedbugs I am almost certain that you will find them there or the stains that are associated with them (dark brown-Reddish brown). The Bedbug itself is small, but very much visible. Dark Brown. Another alternative is to switch a flashlight on in the middle of the night and check the bed. My wife and I found many this way trying to run from the light. Believe me these little bastards are frustrating and my wife was at the point of pulling out her hair because she couldn't get to sleep properly at night. Hope this helps.

If you're in a new apartment, it's highly likely to be fleas. Maybe your pet has fleas. Either that, or you're hanging out at a friend's place with fleas.
Let your buddy know.
Threw me for a loop after growing up in a household without fleas...they are very itty bitty beasts. The legs point towards fleas, not bedbugs.
If it's your own place let your mom /dad know. I'm not a fan of chemicals. For my own place, I make a light trap device. Stand a light over a tin of water w/ a little dishsoap to break surface tension & place on the floor..put something underneath in case of leaking. Don't get the lamp in the water of course. The critters jump towards the light and drown in the water. Shift the trap to other areas or make more.
This IS an effective method.. I've used it a number of times as I've moved around.

Do you have animals? It sounds like fleas. They are really hard to get rid of. I would do some treatments and maybe have the exterminator back. I had them back in the summer and it took forever to get them out. And have them do around the house too...the yard and such, since they come in through narrow holes in the foundation.

Do you have pets? It could be fleas. Could also be bedbugs - they've been coming back and are hard to get rid of.
