I was recently diagnosed with pneumonia and put on anti-biotics. Its been almost 2 weeks since they did the x-ray and blood work and I am having very severe pains in my left side right under my ribcage. I asked the doctor about it yesterday and he told me that is normal from the fluid or plurasy in the lung. He said it could last up to 2 more weeks. Has anyone else ever had pneumonia with these symptoms? It just really hurts. Curious.............thanks much

I have been coughing persistently for about 3 months now and its not stopping. In most cases mucus comes up when I cough. I went to go see a doctor about 2 weeks ago and had a chest x-ray done. The x-ray came out good and she said i was in good shape. She prescribed me some antibiotics which ive gone through and they didnt really help. Im 17 years old and i dont smoke. Do i have chronic bronchitis?

When my son was diagnosed at 3 months old the doctors told us that the cure was in sight. That they were so close to having a cure that the CF Foundation was on a month to month lease in anticipation of not being needed any more. That was 12 years ago. So where is the cure?

if you hold your breath...untill you become so suffocated that you get unconscious...is it your death? or are you gonna start breathing again unconscious and gain consciesness and at last be come fully conscious?!..its because i have heard that when some one is trying to suffocate his victim...when it struggles he keeps holding the victims air way..but right after the victim stops moving...he lets go of its air way...! and it seems that always the victim is dead already!//but it is really the end?,,or the victim ..simply got unconscious due to temporary hypoxic shock...and he will be start breathing again and gaining it again..!?..i know..that..the respiration centre will not stop right after you get unconscious..!..so it will run your engine again!?...please..some one..tell me the right answer!!

I was diagnosed with strep throat and put on antibiotics. Then, it moved to my sinuses and I got short of breath if I even walked around.

The doctor changed the antibiotic and gave me an inhaler because I registered in the 300 point range, below the 400 point range of what I should register on the air meter for my age and height.

I tried to use the inhaler and it is like all the medication shoots into my tongue and won't go down my throat.

Any advice on how to get it to work correctly??
What am I doing wrong? I never used one before.
Thanks.
