When my son was diagnosed at 3 months old the doctors told us that the cure was in sight. That they were so close to having a cure that the CF Foundation was on a month to month lease in anticipation of not being needed any more. That was 12 years ago. So where is the cure?

Well there's the conspiracy theorist's version and then there's the idea that maybe their cure in sight just didn't pan out and they were overly optimistic.

Keep the faith. The cure will come, it's a question of when.

It's probably the drug companies stopping a cure. I believe that there are cures for many major diseases, but the drug companies would stand to lose too much money so they bribe them to not release the cure.
