Now I have a lump in my upper arm and my PCP thinks it could be 1 of 3 things. 1- a cyst, 2- lyme disease 3- the cortisone liquid has settled in my arm. She says it feels like there is fluid in this "Lump". I am going to have carpal tunnel surgery on Nov 20th. She said if it is Lyme Disease I will know because the antibiotics they give me for my hand before surgery will take it away. I think it is the cortisone liquid. Has anyone who have ever gotten 3 shots ever experienced this? Please let me know. It also gets warm and it hurts.

k im i teen and my tounge is tied. its not severe and i can speak perfectly fine but i cannot roll my r's or stick my tounge out. if i get this fixed, will i be able to resume speaking normally immidiatly? as i said i am a teen and i DONT want to end up with a speech deficiancy or lisp even if it only lasts a month. i no that i would had to train myself to roll my r's (most likely) but other than that, would i be able to continue to talk normal??? i also have the high hopes of becomeing a vocalist or singer so my speech is very important. as i said i can speak normal now but am just curious.

Do you just go in and talk to the Doctor? Get a prescription for the prep pills or liquid? Does he have to do an exam? If so, please explain what is done.

I tried the "eat vanilla ice cream" trick, but I think it is worst, because I felt so thirsty afterwards. This is irritating! I am teaching. And the parents thought I was being arrogant on purpose.

First of all, I've been having really bad headaches for about a week straight, pretty much every day. Now, just a few minutes ago I experienced something really strange. Suddenly, I had to clench my jaw and tense my neck and my arms started sort of twitching. It almost felt like an uncontrollably strong urge to do these things. This went on for a few minutes and then it stopped, and I tried to figure out what was going on with me and I found I can't deliberately do any of the things my body was doing for those few minutes. It sounds strange, but it was like I lost control of what my body was doing briefly. Does anyone know what might be wrong with me? Should I see a doctor?

I'm a 19-year-old girl with no existing health problems (that I know of), by the way.

I haven't been put on the insurance of my work and can't afford to see a doctor, so I want to know if this is serious enough for me to see one and how urgent it is.

I already know that I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome and I have been to the doctor countless times for it. Problem is now it has went the opposite direction. I had the Diarhea side now I have both Diarhea and Constipation, no matter what I eat I get sick. Now it has gotten so bad that I can't eat. I'm never hungry and just to look at food it just about makes me sick. I know I'm not pregnant so that's not it. What should I do? I have lost about ten lbs. in the last two weeks and I'm always really tired. I know I'm not getting the nutrition I need but I don't know how I can get that if I can't eat. Please let me know what I should do. Thanks for the replies.
