hi my niece is two years old and the doctor saya she has multible scoliosis is there a cure for it without haveing surgery

Depends on the cause. Some cases actually resolve by themselves. Others require bracing and still others need surgery.

In a two year old with scoliosis, one would suspect either congenital deformities in the vertebrae, or, a neurological defect affecting the paraspinal muscles. Examples include spina bifida and certain types of muscular dystrophy. These situations have to be followed very carefully, for severe scoliosis can interfere with heart and lung function. Spontaneous resolution in such cases is extremely unlikely.

see if the doctor will put her in a back brace...that will help some...but the only cure i know is surgery
