Chronic sinus infections are common in people with allergies, and sinus infections usually cause headaches. There's times when I can't tell when I have a cold because my allergies are so bad that a cold is hardly noticeable.

It might be a good idea to see an allergist if you haven't done this before. If you want to try some over the counter drugs, mucinex thing mucus to make it easier to drain, and 12-hour sudafed or the Walmart brand (the original kind you now have to ask the pharmacist for) help open up the sinuses. These two things, along with an antihistamine can work pretty well.
