I have been diagnosed with having a small kidney stone over nearly 2 weeks ago, I was told to stay at home and it would pass on its own. The last 2 days I have been finding tiny white particles in my urine nearly everytime I pee, I also have had slightly more pain the last 2 days in my kidney and by my abdomen and it has been burning a little when I pee today nothing severe yet, just slight discomfort. I have been drinking about 10 glasses of water a day and also a couple of glasses of cranberry juice to flush the stone out. What are the particles? and why do I have the pain in the kidney and a slight burning when I pee? is it the stone moving or possibly passing. Any info I would be grateful, cause the doctors just keep saying it will pass. Thanks

I have had insomnia ever since I can remember. Both the type of having trouble falling asleep and that of staying asleep. I never feel like going to bed. It's 6am here and I'm not really that tired. I have always heard you shouldn't stay in bed if you aren't falling asleep, but what if this keeps me up all night. It has before. I was taking meds for it but I ran out and I was afraid I was starting to get addicted. Any help out there?

I've got got over a severe ear wax blockage in my ear and have had it syringed and removed by a doctor. As a result I now have an acute ringing in the ear. I'm wondering how long this Tinnitus will last? I've been told 2 weeks to a month, but I'm eager to ask anyone else who has suffered from this.

I have been "blind" in my left eye since birth. I believe to have a congenital optic nerve malformation...but I'm not certain.

I have very limited perferial vision in my left eye. I can see light and sometimes tell you what the object is. Everything is very blurry.

I do not have muscular control over my left eye. It mostly follows my right eye...but is lazy.

I'm unable to find anything on the Internet about my type of blindness and whether or not it can be surgically corrected.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

I have had UC for two years now and no medicines have been able to help prevent flare ups. I was so sick three weeks ago that I was nearly admitted to hospital. In desperation I decided to try what a friend had suggested - to cut out all dairy products from my diet. I did, and ever since I have been much better. Has anyone else experienced this, or has anyone excluded any other foods from their diet that has helped them? Thank you,

I heard that Oregon allows this.

I can imagine that religious viewpoints will heavily way upon a person's opinion of this. My opinion: bring on the pills. I don't see any good reason that a dying person shouldn't be able to choose precisely when and how they go if they are going to go anyway.

My whole life I've been unable to adapt to cold weather. It's frightening because even in 50 degree (Fahrenheit) weather I can get chattering teeth and shake convulsively while people wear light jackets. I have to wear 2 layers of everything in the winter, including arm/ leg warmers. If I don't, my heart races waay too fast and I have trouble getting it to slow down until I can get inside a warm room. The first indicator being any one of my appendages goes frost-cold first (usually a toe or a whole foot). That process happens dramatically fast so I have to be quick about bringing my body temp. up.

I don't have any ailments to speak of, just wondering if there's anyone else out there that experiences this.

i take some pills for high blood pressure, take a pill for anxiety and depression. I also take some pills for high blood sugar. I take 5 pills a day just for those health problems, but when the side effects from pills kick in, my doctor prescibes other medications to help with the side effects of these other pills i take for my health issues. I am 28 and take 10 different pills a day know and my doctor wants me to take more for other health problems. I understand that i need to take meds to help with my health problems, but taking to many pills could be bad too i would think. I feel like i could turn into a drug addict from taking all of these pills. Could this happens since some of these pills are easy to get addicted too?

I'm in my early to mid-twenties now, but when I was a child, a doctor told me I had a mild form of scoliosis. Never did anything about it and was just told to avoid overdoing the carrying of heavy bags, etc. Looking at it from a mirror, I feel as though the curvature has gotten somewhat worse. It doesn't bother me physically in any way, but should I be concerned? I'm a student, and carrying heavy bags is inevitable now and then, although I'll try to be better about it. Any tips?
