Sounds like she needs Hospitalization.

What's sad is that MANY Manics negate the meds for the thrill of the Manic HIGH, which is said to be better than any drug. Sadly, some Manics reach a psychotic state and the HIGH can get them in serious trouble.

I used to live next to guy who was Manic and used to go off his meds. The guy would be singing at 3am and would have moments of pure grandiosity. It's really sad.

As convincing as they can be that they're fine, don't let her fool you, sounds like she needs help ASAP...

I would get her in ASAP before she comes down and hurts herself. The lows are horrible.

Sounds like she may have gone off her meds. If nothing else, get her to her doctor, he may recommend taking her back to the hospital.

Most bi-polar (manic) people do go off their meds when they are feeling better since they feel they are better and don't need the meds. It's a vicious cycle unfortunately.

Yes she should go. However she might not want to go? I do not know if she is still taking her drugs, let alone if she is drinking, even on the quiet. Smell the fresh orange juice. But my advise get her to the Hospital

Talk to her doctor.
He or she may wish to see her, and adjust the meds.
If she's been adjusting her own meds, THAT'S a huge problem.
In the hospital, they will keep her, remove all meds, then do a new baseline for her, and prescribe according to the new baseline.
